2018 was really fun, too.

Yes, I liked the game more back then, but I was also an impressionable teen.

I don't sit around wishing the game changes back to the way it was. I love the game as it is and baseball will always be my favorite sport.

Now, ask me how much I like the way the NBA has changed. LMAO!

i quit watching the NBA shortly after Jordan retired. now....if they were playing a game in my backyard, i'd drive to town just to get away.

NBA is such a shame. 3-point line COMPLETELY RUINED the sport. These kids will never know how great 80's Basketball was when teams more or less ignored the 3-,point line. Half-court Basketball and mid-range, 2-point shots were a thing of beauty. Hockey completely sucks now too. Football has remained the closest to its peak, IMHO.

If anything ruined the NBA, it was the universal adaptation of the phenomenally boring Triangle Offense.  Three pointers are exciting; passing the ball for 44 seconds, missing a shot, followed by 44 more seconds of passing the ball around? I’d rather watch golf, and I don’t even believe in golf…

Hasn't pretty much every generation in the history of the world spoke of how things were better way back when?

Even Homo Erectus used to hear from his grandparents about how much better it was to crawl around on all 4’s, and they’d say things like “You kids today with your opposable thumbs…”

Great. Now do Seaver/Clemens.

Why can’t every pitcher be one of the greatest of all time?

Is the expectation for Early or do you want him to be more like Mark Prior and Kerry Wood?

bresblow blew the offseason bigtime and we will be lucky to be a 500 team.1st of all he should have never spent 40 mill a yr on 2 junkball pitchers in Suarez and gray when we had much better starters already on the team.he should never traded harrison who is like early and tolle.we would have had crochet bello early Harrison and tolle as our 5 with sandoval starting once in a while to give the other 5 some rest.we should make Crawford our new middle man and not use Greg i led the Al in blown saves last yr weissert in high leverage situations.we should have left the starters alone and went with the young guns instead of blowing over 40 mill a yr on 2 junkballers who cant even reach 92 mph.we should have used that money to get Alonzo who would have solved our power problem for yrs to come.with the left over money we should have signed a good middle man to go with Crawford so weissert wouldn't be blowing saves left and rt.who blows over 40 mill ayr on 2 junkball pitchers who make the rotation a lot worse .Craig bresblow that who.the guy has blown every trade or free agent signing except for crochet which we all could have done when u trade 4 top prospects .look at gray and Suarez 1st starts.horendous and both have a 9 era so far as does Oviedo.another stiff bresblow brought in.we should have went with Romero at 3rd and mayer at 2nd and never traded Harrison who has a 1.60 era so far or mayer at 3rd and figure out 2nd base but I think Romero is ready and has some power and is good with the glove.he would be better than I'm batting 000 durbin that's for sure.these are all simple things that even I know.how in the world can bresblow f up so badly is beyond me but he's done that from the start like when he traded sale when he was finally healthy for a minor league 2nd baseman.of course sale won the cy young that yr and made bresblow look like the fool he is.another awful trade was the may trade  last yr who again made us worse.the guy we gave up tibbs is batting 500 so far this yr.there are others also but u get the point .the only good thing that will happen to the 26 Sox is when bresblow finally gets canned when our team finishes below 500.1 step forward and 2 steps back for our red Sox and it was all avoidable until bresblow blew the offseason in a major way.cora and his staff have to go also as he's gotten worse every yr since 2018.i would make varitek the manager and get a real GM who wont get swindled every time he makes a trade or waste big money on guys who make us a lot worse instead of better.i will never get blowing over 40 mill a yr on 2 junkballers when we had 3 young studs who throw gas in early tolle and Harrison.add them 3 to crochet and bello with sandoval giving them a rest here and there and signed alonzo  to fill our biggest weakness which is a power hitter.these moves alone would have made us so much better for 26 and given us a chance to build on last yrs playoffberth but no.everything bresblow touches turns to s***.we all know jh has been cheap the last 4-5 yrs but this yr we finally cracked the top 10 again in payroll where we should always be considering we are top 5 in revenue and this is how bresblow spends it.he made the team a lot worse by getting those 2 junkballers and not signing Alonzo.again no reason to trade Harrison for durbin who sucks.romero would have been much better and u put mayer at 2nd and keep Harrison who proved last yr he is very good.they all throw gas  with other pitches as well and we would have been much better off than wating over 40 mill a yr on those 2 junkballers who cant even reach 92 mph.bresblow needs to be fired yesterday before he does more damage as does cora and his whole staff except for varitek who should be our new manager.get a decent GM who doesn't get fleeced every time he makes a trade or signs a free agent.this mess was all avoidable but bresblow blew it bigtime in the off-season on multiple fronts and ruined any chance we had in 26.u cant make this stuff up.God bless all and happy Easter for sunday

He just wants Early to be treated like a Hall of Famer, apparently.  Or like Michael Fulmer, whichever comes first…

Should we stick to fox hunting, dog shows or polo?

What did you think about all the hullabaloo in the third chucker?  I think it was a lot of shenanigans and tomfoolery, but Reginald thinks the horse was bulimic.  Whats your hot take?

I have a premonition for the near future in baseball: anyone who thinks the ABS challenge system is good for the game now, just wait until Check The Check gets challenged.

The proposed over-under angle of the bat is 45 degrees from end of the barrel to knob; diagrams basically show that line to be parallel to the first base foul line for righty batters (for perspective, on the call Bucknor blew last weekend, Trevor Story's bat was still behind him when he checked his swing -- all he did that confused CB was move his hands over the plate).

Computers will overturn just about every stupid "he went!" that base umps think they can tell from 90 feet away. Pitchers will go ballistic -- and leagues are prepared to immediately eject any who yell until the new rule is accepted.

Check swings will no longer be fake strikes, false Ks will disappear from the diamonds, hitters' counts will thrive, and pitchers will be forced to throw more hittable pitches. Best part for baseball: Offense returns!!!!

Yeah, I long for the days of Ike Delock, Don Buddin, Dick Stuart, Haywood Sullivan, and Gene Stevens.   Those all-white dude teams ROCKED!

Also - the Sox were a mere 30-40 years removed from their last title!

Oh, good times…

The racist GM who over the phone gave his California scout permission to sign a guy named Green must have been in shock when Pumpsie first arrived in Beantown.

While baseball is my favorite sport, I was best at basketball- for whatever that is worth.

It is really not the same game, anymore, and it's not just the 3 pointer aspect.
