SeaBeachFred?  No, Old Red is not that Fred.

In that case, my apologies to Old Red.  I had assumed his handle was a knock off of Old Fred.

If he's on the IL for 7 weeks, they'll get a 4th ARB year for Casas. They should a billion % do that. He has a serious injury and he's not going to be ready for ST or Opening Day.

If we found out he was, he'd be banned.

I don’t know who this guy was, or is, but I’m definitely not him impersonating, or otherwise.😉

You are definitely not. We would have figured it out a long time ago. He has a very distinctive posting style.

Good. I thought I might have to take a polygraph, or go in a lineup, or something.

I'm sure some posters haven't ruled you out from being Babe or Dutchy though. 🤔

I get it, but the only thing I was on before was the old CBS stuff, and the biggest discussion I remember was if Theo was Boy Blunder, or Boy WONDER.

We have a rich history of nonsense on here.

Reminding everyone that he has scouted HS games.

I heard that he saw Babe when he was still with the RS.

I remember when the F.O.M. always referred to them as Tito Francoma and Theo InEpstein.  Two of the best in baseball history, and they hated them.

I vaguely remember Ted myself, so kind of starting with Yaz with me.

InEpstein wasn't a common term used on this site. FranCOMA got a lot of run though.

… and it was his idea to move Babe from the mound to right field…

Just read an interview with loser Breslow and almost threw up. If I didn’t expect the litany of excuses I’ve belched I probably would have.

”Anytime you try to sign a player and lose….blah blah blah”

He says the same thing every time he misses out on a deal. Why would this time be any different?

Doesn't every GM say something similar after not submitting the winning bid?

No matter what he says or does he's wrong.

Breslow isn't a great communicator. This has been known going back to the time of his hiring.

No doubt.

He seemed pretty standard on this one, to me.

Same with Bloom. Theo must have taken different classes at Yale to able to communicate better.

Bloom was a capable communicator, and very professional.  He was just scared money at the poker table and too gun-shy.

If you could combine Breslow's willingness to take risks with Bloom's interpersonal skills, you'd have a GM....who would probably be out of our price range.

Not if he succeeds in getting the player signed. That hasn’t happened often enough.
