Go Jays, obviously.

Dodgers-Phillies could be a good one.

Brewers-Cubs and Mariners-Tigers, who knows, maybe they will feature the best baseball.

Overall a pretty good rack of games and it gets started in just a few hours

Brewers-Cubs leads off at 2 ET.

Good old Toronto doesn't like games on weekend nights so both games start at 4 ET.

Place your bets!

A guy named Mookie Betts seemed to be having a dreadful season and in his decline phase and all that, but caught fire at the end of the year, ended up with a 4.8 bWAR and went 6 for 9 in the Wild Card games.

So look out for the Dodgers again.

The Dodgers and Phillies are arguably the two best teams in baseball. But one of them is going to get knocked out in the best of five NLDS. That's how it goes sometimes.

Dodgers's pen isn't built for the postseason.

You mean the Mookie who won last night's game in the 9th for nailing the potential tying run at third base?

Sac bunt situation: Mookie huddles the infielders and calls the wheel play -- where he sprints to cover 3rd, while the third baseman charges; Muncy fields the bunt, fires to Betts, who tags out Castellanos and ends the threat. LA 4, Philly 3.

Here's what teammate Miggy Rojas said postgame, "He’s becoming the full package at short, understanding the situation, understanding the runner at second base. … I’m happy that he called it right there on the field. Because it was the right play with the right runner, knowing the guy was gonna bunt. And they executed pretty well. Unbelievable. To be in the big leagues 12 years, he keeps getting better every single day.”

And that was on full display last night. At least Philly decided to help them out with a questionable bunt call…

But they're 4 and 0.  The pen looks shaky but may be surmountable when they have so much else going.

I hope the Brewers are up to the task, I'd rather not see the Dodgers hoisting it again.

I'm just saying that it could be a fatal flaw when the games get close. They didn't want to have to pitch Sasaki twice in 3 days. Not a recipe for success out there when you need to close out games. That pen was bottom third in ERA this season.

Is Sasaki pitching hurt or something?  I was puzzled by the sequencing last night.

No clue. Haven't paid much attention to other teams this year TBH. Been too busy.

I thought they were just hoping Treinen could get 3 outs before he gave up 3 runs…

I want the Dodgers and Yankees out.  I hate watching the same non-Red Sox teams every year.

A Mariners-Brewers World Series would be cool.  I believe Seattle is the only team to never play in the Series, and the Brewers haven’t since 1982 (with Harvey’s Wallbangers).  Plus both teams played their inaugural season in Seattle…

Of course, but Sasaki was the closer in Game 1, getting it done on 11 pitches, and Treinen didn't pitch in Game 1, and there was a day off in between games, so it seemed odd Treinen would be the closer in Game 2 unless there was a health issue with Sasaki, but Sasaki came in to close it anyway.

Maybe it was some sort of matchup deal.

"Blake's pitched some of the biggest outs, innings, in the postseason for us. And felt really confident right there. And with Vesia behind him if needed." - Dave Roberts

Kind of just went by feel.

ESPN had an article on the rollercoaster season Sasaki has had.

Anyone but the Yankees.  After that, anyone but the Dodgers, which is sad, because individually, I really like 95% of their team.

I hope the Blue Jays finish off the Yankees tonight.  Don't prolong my agony.

Mariners-Brewers is what i'm hoping for, but anybody but Dodgers/Yankees is fine.

Boone is certainly doing his part.  Season on the line.  Tomorrow is no guarantee.  But let Rodon give up 6 runs…

Doesn’t matter who boone puts out there. Their pitching is getting lit up.

It is my opinion that MLB is in a bad spot right now.  Most of the free agents are going to 1 of 5 teams, and the gap between the haves and the have-nots is widening.  And I blame the have-nots.  They are just arent trying hard enough.

The dodgers are juggernauts because the league let them.  But at least they are trying.  I dont blame them, I blame the other teams more excited about dumping contracts than anything else.

And its the players too.  When was the last time someone threw a damn punch.  Everyone is just complacent. Theres no passion.
