Duran in CF really doesn't weaken the Sox outfield defensively.

Disagree. Rafaela is a transcendent defender. Duran has been just fine this year.

Nice homer by Anthony. Unbelievable how far he can hit. Obviously his exit velocity is one of the best. And the 4 walks. Not shabby for a 21 year old.

Really seems like they got something special here.  Great job by the team locking him up early.

"Still???"  Last night Abreu batted 5th and was hitless.

Yoshida and Toro have hit ahead of Abreu several times, recently- not everyday.

What a great game! I watched it at a friends house, and we are going to tonight's game.

If we lose, I may never go to another one, again. I'm the opposite of Thunder magic.

I was always told “it’s always the quiet ones.” What’s that mean?

It’s usually a reference to serial killers…

No way were John Wayne Gacy, Ted Bundy, Ed Kemper, HH Holmes, Pee Wee Gaskins, Henry Lee Lucas and Albert Fish quiet. They were probably the most annoying people in the world to be around. If they were internet posters, they'd quote people and provide endless non sequiturs and emojis. Yuck! David Berkowitz and Dennis Rader were probably quiet though.

Ed Gein was a quiet chap.  Albert Fish and Ted Bundy were known for their respective charm.  Holmes was an a-hole and Gacy (who apparently operated not far from my current domicile) was very outspoken and belligerent.

I used to work with a guy who worked with Paul Runge (the serial killer, not the former Braves infielder) and he did relate that Paul was one of those quiet types…

Aileen Wournos was probably the loudest person at every dive bar she walked into.

Nice topic, guys! 🤪

Tail end of a game thread is the right place for it, though.

Sorry for leaving Canada out of the discussion. Is Robert Pickton's farm still up and running? 🐖

Agree it was great!

Tonight sounds like a ton of fun and should be repeated every time the Sox are in town.

Great.  So she was not only a serial killer, but an obnoxious one at that.  No wonder she was executed…

Last meal was probably a 30 rack and a pack of smokes.
