Why would the back-up catcher need to catch during the playoffs other than injury?

Yes, it’s a concern, but it’s no where near the top of the list.

I keep hearing its nit on top of the list. How hard is it to get a backup catcher?

So why were those WPs?  Sure the first was wide but his glove position was all wrong; you gotta catch that.  The second one hit him in the shin on the fly.  WP?  Why?  (Of course they were horrible pitches).

Did the clock strike midnight and the express train that was the Sox turned into a pumpkin ?

Terrible inning .

Still winnable but some hitters need to show up besides Cedanne

They have a backup catcher, but we need one who can  actually hit too.

Unless Bernie was crossing up Narvaez on his pitch selection,   I cannot imagine why he tried to backhand those sweepers.  Particularly  the second one

3 gift runs

When this team doesn’t hurt itself they always are competitive but when they s*** the bed with stupid errors and poor fundamentals which is the signature of Cora’s teams, they are another Bush league team to beat.

Wong's inability to hit is a minor inconvenience.  With Bregman and Yoshida back, this team is knee deep in hitters.  So a good defensive catcher for 1 out of every 3 games should be just right.

Wong was fine catching his last game--Bello's first ever complete game. Thinks look pretty bleak tonight thanks to Narvaez's 2 passed balls.  Plus the ump screwing all over Alcala.

That was really a bad luck man. Could be easily a double instead it was a DP. Baseball is brutal at times.

What figures? That he hit the ball hard?

Just bad luck. Rafaela smoked the ball and Mayer couldn’t get back.

Sox are back in it.  Maybe Cora should bring Wong in for defensive purposes.

Nahhh s*** happens. Guy’s stud.

If somehow they can bring a legit No. 2 pitcher or an elite 1B I’ll give the thumb up to trade Duran.

The Sox definitely need a top shelf starter and if Duran in a trade package can make that happen, I'm all for it.

Tampa better hurry if they want to win a WS. Florida is gonna be under water in the not too distant future. It won't be missed.

I heard that before that happens they’re going to move the Trop to the Smithsonian.

An elite 1b is a pipe dream and also unnecessary.  The Sox already have plenty of hitting.

They need a top flight setup reliever

Knowing Cora’s LvsR obsessiveness wonder why He sent Wilson here regardless the result.

We need a proven 1B at both sides of the plate badly.
