The greatest hitter in the history of the game actually loved fly fishing more.

Not too many knights of the keyboard in those trout streams.

I saw nothing in that 1 inning stint ( scoreless due to big D plays) from Whitlock that would encourage me to bring him in a key late inning situation.

Wong will have problems getting back into  even a 50-50 catching duo.  More like 25-75 in favor of Narvaez.

Narvaez was a Yankee. I hold that against him.

Campbell is looking clueless at bat.  Rafaela looks better than KC.  He may find himself back at Woo before July if he can't figure it out.

AB's look very tentative,  jumps at most pitches, not swinging hard or taking much .

Narvaez has been a positive surprise.

He had a decent OBP in the minors and a little power, but the word was he was glove-only.

It looks like Wong is the #2 for sure.

Not sure how they let these umps call the game man. It’s simply atrocious. Calling a strike not even close the zone and earlier a ball in the zone. Simply annoying.

This is the last year on Skenes' contract, but the Sox have the funds to extend his contract. Skenes is one of the top starters in MLB

Skenes isn’t arbitration eligible until after the 2026 season and isn’t a free agent until after the 2029 season…

Yeah there is no way he should be on the block, but it is the Pirates…

He just debuted last year, didn’t he?

if he is not the center piece to rebuild the pirates I don't know who is. He should be locked in ala Crochet. He’s the real deal.

Seems like the BP is finally coming around but I still don’t see Whitlock as he was supposed to be.

Probably he and Narvaez are the greatest surprises this year.

Last two nights: 13 pitches, 2 saves…

Ramon Vazquez's managing of the Red Sox over the past 2 games is nothing short of fantastic.

A winning streak,  a shutout,  undefeated as acting manager, really good job, Ramon.

The BP's performances the 2 wins vs the METS has been spectacular.  Especially after Buehler got wasted by a  really bad umpire

I'm pretty sure Cora was calling the shots from the clubhouse.

If Paul Skenes could be up for trade this season, which is highly likely, should the Sox go after him?

Would you be Okay with Mayer and Anthony being part of the trade?

Probably not, but Skenes youth and two very good seasons make him pretty valuable.  And the Sox aren't knee deep in quality starters.

If someone did fall off the Wall, Duran would simply throw that person to 2nd base.

Classic.

They're not even ankle deep.

Probably.  I think his rage at the ump was honest, but I think he also likes to give Vazquez opportunities to show what he can do.
