Do the Sox hitters come out of the dugout down 0-2, 1-2 ?  I'd love to see that stat.

No wonder they have issues scoring

Divas does get the run home so there's that. Congrats

What are your thoughts on Campbell moving to 1st base?

I liked the idea more than Devers to 1B, even before this fiasco.

Devers to 1B makes way for Refsnyder to play DH, instead of RF vs LHPs. I guess Yoshida might evnetually fill the role vs RHPs, but who does, now?

Campbell at 1B makes way for Mayer.

Looks like a no brainer for 2025.

(THis from a guy who has been saying Devers to 1B for many years.)

Do you use Chapman for a second inning?  If not, who comes in.

Can Divas go from DH to pitch ?  He was complaining about having to go to the OF. Maybe he can throw a few

Whitman, he just pitched yesterday. 24 pitches, only  13 strikes.

Maybe we'll get lucky.

Walt’s a hell of a poet; as a reliever, meh.😀

Whitlock does suck in tough spots.  That was a win  that would have been well earned. Now it's a crapshoot

Yup, no point in upsetting Devers. We already know where he stands as a team player.

Sucks lose.
Hard to win scoring one run

Id tell Devers he’s the new 1B . If he doesn’t agree he can sit.

Nah, he'll just hurt himself playing first. Better he sits on the cooler in the dugout .

Good teams find a way to win these close games.

the Red Sox are consistent in not be able to find a way.

Situational hitting continues to be an issue.

The Red Sox did a lot of scratching, and clawing just to get the one run in 12 innings with three of those innings having a ghost runner to start. The last I heard the Red Sox were last in MLB in situational hitting, which pretty much says it all on having just a 500 record in a very weak League at that.

Gotta start wondering, is Dobbins for real?

Has he reached the point where he is no longer the first guy starter down?

I'm starting to think Yes on 1 and am at Yes on two, already.
