I didn’t see the sense in pitching Kenley in mop up duty the other day either after throwing 25 pitches the night before rather if he was going to Colorado, or not.

It’s not amazing, and it’s been explained many times. Not everyone has the need to wave Pom Poms when they are winning. If it’s so disturbing to you to be on here during, or after a loss there is a simple solution to that. Don’t go on here. Once again yes it’s 1 loss, but they ALL add up.

He’s eligible for free agency after the 2028 season, when he’ll be 32. I think he starts his arbitration years next year; right now he’s making $760K, which is $20K over the mlb minimum.

I questioned that at the time, but I think it might have been because Kenley wasn’t going to travel to Colorado anyway so he was going to get 3 days off…

I know why they did it, but throwing 20 more pitches a night after throwing 25 pitches in mop up at that still does not make sense. Having 4 days off after wouldn’t necessarily offset on throwing back to back nights especially at the time it was happening.
