And as you know, others have complained even louder that he should have sold off at the 2022 deadline.

I vaguely remember this happening. Like distant echoes....

Yes, that is another option, but comparing the Sox and the Marlins has nothing to do with the Mets.

No, but a place where she may end up.

No matter how you spin it, it is not a good thing that the word around baseball is that Red Sox management is kind of screwed up these days. No doubt they will find someone to hire , and maybe someone good, but this whole thing does not put them in a good light at all.

The only problem is that they keep JH insulated enough that he won't hear or see anything. That's the sole reason that Grimma Wormtongue (aka Sam ********) works there.

Distant echos? I heard discussions before the 2022 season even started.

Yea, but JH is all alone now, and doesn’t have Bloom around to take some of the boos away from him.

Wait, it feels like just a few weeks ago no one was at management's throat when Bloom was fired. If anything it felt like people were not only happy when Bloom was fired, but they literally swallowed every little spin down their throats the FO threw at themn.

Now...the FO is inept. What does that say about someone who is gullible enough to believe the same people they feel are a complete s*** show?

Please be good Celtics.

Hmm, sounds familiar... Can anyone else confirm?

What boos? He rarely interacts with fans anymore.

What spin that Sam The Sham, and the FO has thrown out there is anyone buying. I don’t believe that anyone is smelling what the aRock is cookin.

Whenever ever he shows his face in public. Will he attend the winter meet, and greet this year?

Everything the front office leaked right when they fired Bloom. That spin.

Agree with that, but what was spin, and what wasn’t. That’s pretty mild compared to what Tito got.

Ask SD, or the Mets if winning doesn’t matter in the here, and now.The Mets blew it up in less than a year. Ask Texas how it is to be winning in the here, and now.

How is this even related to my point?

True that, they really did Tito dirty.

Lmao!

LYAO all you want. I’ve said before the 1967 team was, and is my all time favorite Red Sox team even though they didn’t win it all, and they were mostly all home grown. 1975 was another good team, and mostly homegrown.

Per Speier, Craig Breslow, Thad Levine, and Neal Huntington have all interviewed with the Red Sox for their FO openings.

Raquel Ferreira withdrew her name due to family concerns.

Looking at who HAS interviewed, both internal and external - it definitely looks like Boston is using this as a chance to take some 30,000 foot view of how the org is running ...

- Pitching development

- The scouting vs analytics components for the winning recipe

Huntington is particularly interesting, with some real GM experience as well as experience developing pitching.

Per McAdam, Paul Toboni, the team's VP for Amateur and player development has also been interviewed.

No one is doubting many of the Sox great teams were loaded with homegrown talent. How bringing that up has anything to do with the point only you know.

You saying you've "always been big on the farm" has to be one of the funniest things ever said on this site. Hands down.

Of course, you will come back that I'm overanalyzing what "always been big" means, but it was a very good joke.

They must not be hearing the chatter scaring everyone else away!

Neal Huntington? So MLB experience and a pulse? With experience being optional, I guess…

Most teams in 1967 were homegrown. You either came up though the organization or they traded for you.

Ah the days of relegation…

They were all just suspects, until they were no longer prospects.
