The Royals are on a pace to go 43-119. The A’s are on a pace to go 41-121. Those are bad teams.

 

The Sox will be in the 78-84 win range in my opinion. Not good, not bad, mediocre.

 

I guess for me bad is relative to expectations. KC and the As have sucked for years. I expect more out of our team given the resources available.

In any event I expect better from the Red Sox. They can spend right up to the limit but their minor league system has sucked, especially for developing pitchers.
