ACTUALLY, this Red Sox offense is unsustainable even though half of their players only have a 60 wRC+ or whatever...

Chang's already had his career day with the SOX.

For any fan with wild card dreams, this better be Chang's career year.

Yu is your shortstop. Kike didn't work there, Story isn't moving there, and Mondesi is in Margaritaville with Paxton, courtesy of Flying Dutchman Cruise Lines.

Terrific rally, but I'm more impressed with Tanner Houck, another guy I wrote off last year or the year before. I had him pegged as a decent long reliever. Fourth start, and he has yet to have a bad one.

What a treat to see Vazquez back at Fenway--playing for the other team. Some players are a tad bitter toward their former team (s), but in this series it's clear he bears no ill will and in fact wants to help

@JeffPassan

The 10 best run differentials through three weeks of the MLB season:

Tampa Bay: +83

Texas: +43

Chicago Cubs: +39

Milwaukee: +35

Atlanta: +32

Minnesota: +23

New York Yankees: +23

Houston: +19

Los Angeles Dodgers: +19

Pittsburgh: +19

Sox looking to get Twins out of the Top 10 here. Prior to today, Sox had a -3 differential.

Why pick on a guy who bled SOX red and was a big part of the 2018 championship?

Good sign for Houck.

I've always felt he'd be best taking over Whitlock's role as the high leverage, long man in the pen, but sticking as a starter would be buttah!

I think a 10-10 record is just about right for this team through 20 games. They’re too inconsistent to be over 500 right now.

A very nice quality start by Houck. It's possible(not likely) that a starting pitcher could have a quality start in each of the 32 games he started in a season and his ERA could end up at 4.50. Edited by SPLENDIDSPLINTER

looks like a great Red Sox day with everyone in the lineup and on the mound participating. It sounds too simple but the key to a consistent winning record is the accumulation of series won or worst split. If the bottom half of the lineup can just hit in the .230-.240 range, this team will do a lot better . Overall the pitching is actually pretty decent.

I think our record is much closer to .500 than our record indicates.

Yoshida is such a different hitter when he slashes through the ball. If he can keep up that approach he can be the on base guy in the lower half. Also 2 out hitting with RISP makes you a fan favorite

He has the tools. Nice to see him start to pull out of the funk.

Bulletin: Brasier struggling with 7 run lead. He may be the first one to get overused in this early season
