A very nice quality start by Houck. It's possible(not likely) that a starting pitcher could have a quality start in each of the 32 games he started in a season and his ERA could end up at 4.50. Edited April 20, 2023 by SPLENDIDSPLINTER

looks like a great Red Sox day with everyone in the lineup and on the mound participating. It sounds too simple but the key to a consistent winning record is the accumulation of series won or worst split. If the bottom half of the lineup can just hit in the .230-.240 range, this team will do a lot better . Overall the pitching is actually pretty decent.

Yoshida is such a different hitter when he slashes through the ball. If he can keep up that approach he can be the on base guy in the lower half. Also 2 out hitting with RISP makes you a fan favorite
