That’s a head scratcher.

Here's a real head-scratcher:

"There is no proof that Ortiz was a user but unless you can prove to me that he wasn't using then as far as I'm concerned he's guilty!"

Yeah, that's reasonable. NOT!

What did he test positive for?

Of people on here, or are you sticking up for POP PEE. I don’t call someone names for having a different opinion.

Yeah, but you've already admitted you do stuff like this to get a rise out of others.

Your posting etiquette ain't the best.

Caffeine?

Something else legal?

We'll likely never know. Just like we'll never know about many players tested or never tested.

Yeah, the main point is I don’t call people names for having a different opinion, and not everyone on here can say that. Yes I’m guilty for stirring things up sometimes, but it doesn’t start out that way, but some go way overboard sometimes to try, and defend their opinion that it’s so easy to do. It’s good to have a balance, and not have everyone thinks the same way, because like I’ve said before this is such a small sample on here of what the Red Sox nation actually think, although not necessarily on the Ortiz subject.

What's your nickname for Manny Ramirez?

Sosa was suspended for using a corked bat.

While laughably bad and lacking in physics knowledge, it’s still not really relevant…

You have to be either really weird or really immature to refer to someone as “Pop Pee”. This is middle school level insulting and humor. Reminds me of Orioles fans calling him “Big Poopi” in Baltimore.

That’s the point that NO ONE here knows what MLB tested for, and yet everyone has an opinion. Lots of comments have been made on here, but nothing has changed. Opinions haven’t been changed, and that’s the way it will be. I don’t try to change anyones opinion, and no one will change mine like it, or not.

So instead of “innocent until proven guilty,” you prefer “guilty due to unsupported accusation”?

Did you also think Richard Jewell was guilty?

It shows a willingness to cheat.

Did he break a HR record?

And calling someone weird, and immature isn’t middle school?

Manny Ramirez did play for the Red Sox, yes.

What's your nickname for him?

Sorry, I don’t have a nickname for everyone. Manny, or Roger for that matter. Do you have one?

So why do you only pick on Ortiz?

So why do you only pick on Ortiz?

We’ve already gone through this today too, because Ortiz is the present news. If Roger, or Manny had gotten in I would have said the same thing about them. It’s nothing personal against Ortiz, so don’t go there again, but only what I suspect he did, and still nothing has changed my mind.

So today is the first time you've called him POP PEE?

Concerning what aspect?

His name was on the same list. So were 102 other names. It’s not hard to google the list, though it should be pointed out that whoever did leak the names was in violation of a court order sealing it. I assume it had to do with labor law.

You got me, I’m the immature one for pointing out how immature it is to refer to another man as “Pop Pee”. You are a very creative and mature individual

I do agree the whole POP PEE thing is a bit childish. Now if David Ortiz had tested positive for cocaine and someone labeled him David Snortiz, I could get behind that for a while.

Oh great. Now I put the words “David Ortiz had tested positive for cocaine” in a sentence. Apparently that’s enough to convince some people he did that too…

Seriously. If you're gonna hate, be a little clever at least.

It's very reminiscent of a former poster who used ones like Jason VariPUKE and Xander BUMgaerts and the like when they were going bad...

I've looked, but have never found a list online. If someone has a link, please post it.

Not sure it even warrants a mention with all the blow Strawberry and Gooden did in the 80's.
