I thought they were super high.

 

Adding Eovaldi & Pearce helped a lot, though.

I read them all, but No I don’t listen to rumors, but the point I was getting at was what it would look like if the Rays did outbid the Yankees, Red Sox, and Yankees. I know you were hoping for a gotcha moment, but Sorry to disappoint you, but reading on here many times that the Red Sox have interest in someone, and the wishing, and hoping that comes along with it. The Red Sox had interest in John Lester too for about $70M.

Just feels like We have rapid fire moves on horizon .Could bloom go for Nick Nasty Casty ? Guys spray chart at Fenway gives me redwood .What about Story ? Guy to me is a baller .Kris Bryant ? MLBTR reports Joe Ross was placed on the 60 day IL to make roster space on the Nats 40 man. I thought teams couldn't do that until opening day. Did that change or am I misremembering, again?

I do not understand the Bryant deal at all. I get that he got the most money, but why go to a place that is in perpetual renovation and just dealt off their best player a season before because of an unwillingness to contend. Bryant must have just said "f*** it, go where the money is". He is going to be asking for a trade after year 1

Jackson, do you honestly think they play for a team or a uniform that means nothing to them ? No, it is in fact all about the 100% guaranteed , lifechanging generational money. Most would do the same given the chance.
