Nate reminds me the Nate I watched live in Dodger stadium, in the Game No3 of the 2018 WS when he pitched 9 innings in a relieve appearance. It was probably one of the most impressive things I have seen in baseball, not to mention the 18 inning game and 7 hours or something of great baseball.

What I loved was Stanton killing that hung slider, dropping his bat, posing, trotting to 1b, and suddenly realizing it's single in part because he was posing. The green monster giveth and taketh away.

Yankees shifted Torres just before that pitch. He was right up the middle the first couple pitches then moved him over about 15 feet towards first on that one. Plawecki hits that ball on the earlier ones it’s a base hit.
