I wrote that in response to your accusation that Biden was against gays, abortion rights, etc, I also pointed out that he is more likely than the incumbent to appoint good people who aren't afraid to advise what is best for the country and who are likely to be listened to. Plus I said Biden seem to have a decent moral compass (which Obama also had/has) which the incumbent manifestly lacks.

 

I am not a Biden fan or supporter, but also would have no problem voting for him over the incumbent.

And Hunter will get stinking rich so he can support his children.

If baseball does come back at some point this year, they should make up the lost games by expanding the postseason. Let 8 teams each from AL & NL into the playoffs, and it would only be for this season. Would be cool to see once.

 

Don't they want to expand it anyway? That gives them a great opportunity to thrust on MLB an NHL/NBA playoff format.

I'd go for that if it had to be. Won't be the first shortened season. It will just be shorted from the front end.Would like more like twenty more games than 56. But will take what I can get.

 

Better than no season and all and I still think it would be interesting to have players able to just play balls out for whatever there was to play as opposed to having to pace themselves over a 162 game season. Could be a fun change of pace for us fans and the players.

Not to be contrarian but NO SALARY is the most corrupt kind of service, "public service" or otherwise because it says I will make more money off the flow of contacts than I will ever make off a salary. So keep your damned salary....like certified scumbag Manafort who worked for the Trump Campaign for no salary. If what I saw flying coast to coast today is indicative of how people are acting, we'll be lucky to be done with this soon (unless there is a cataclysmic death toll). 'Social distancing' (even after the alarming lock-downs of, say, SF) was pretty damn rudimentary at bestt, both by passengers and by staff (TSA, bag checkers, etc.)
