Just clinch, so Cleveland and Houston play each other. I don't care about numbers after that. Sox will have enough pressure on them with baseball's best record, going into Play-offs. Anything can happen then, wipe everything off the books. Its 0-0, Yanks or A's no slouches. Edited by OH FOY!

I hope the Sox players will get hot for the PO's. Right now they seem a little worn down and guys like Mookie and JDM especially need to come in rested and raring to go.

It's going to happen. The Sox merely have to go 4-9 in their remaining games to get to 106.

As I said before, reaching 106 wins should not be the focus, but when it happens, it will be pretty cool.

110-52 sounds real nice.

If it happens, it happens.

rest everyone as needed and see what happens.

I'm good with 7 of 12 too :)

First year I can't share this with dad.

Complete break this summer, & just put him in memory care. He pretends to know what the Sox are doing, but used to follow every pitch with him.

Not sure it's going to feel like 2004, 07, or 13 if he doesn't bounce back just a little. That is, if we win the WC.

That's sad. I'm truly sorry to hear that. Many a bond has been formed between a father and son over baseball. I say that from experience.

I hope our championship this year brings you both some joy.

Acck hiss!!! Don't do that! Sure we've won the division, but that's not the championship any of us wants.

4-1 the rest of the way, could happen!

That isn't the object of these last 5 games. I just hope the guys all are kept sharp, somewhat rested (they do have 5 days following the season to rest), and free from injury. Other than injury, the team is probably already selected by Cora.

I called 110 wins at the start of the season...I really did in a text to my brother. He was like am I nuts? Well, clearly, but I really believed the Sox had so many weapons and the addition of Cora's philosophy. Just seemed like they had all these pluses.

One-o-seven and counting. Today the Sox just killed the weak Baltimore pitching. Only concern is that Price was lost for part of his outing. No one could really explain why he seemed so lost.

Could it be neck spasms from watching all our hits?

He might have just lost his focus in such a meaningless game.

Not sure I "rest," but rather stress playing loose, but alert! NO INJURIES, & A real short leash with the SR! Low pitch counts, & NO STRESS!

BUT.... Guys need to stay sharp. You can't break the groove. We don't want the Sox coming into the ALDS COLD!
