Being From Boston is a privilege !!!!! Celts win Redsox Win Bruins win

Pats just let Eagles score another TD.

Sale is still amazing. You have to give both teams props for playing in those nasty conditions today!

Can’t wait to get mookie and bogey back.

Great, great win in tough conditions. I love the way Sale plays the game with an absolute minimum of fuss. Almost never shakes off a signal. Fields his position beautifully and is fast to 1b. Today that skinny guy wore short sleeves and toughed it out for 93 pitches and 5 innings and 1 run.

Great bullpen work too by Hembree, Barnes, and Kimbrel.

9 hits but none of them by our three righty bats (JD, Hanley, and Vazquez.

Cora got that right when he went with the 6 lefty bats. I sure hope the FO will reconsider sending Lin back to Pawtucket when Bogie returns.

13-2 with 13 of 15 solid (if not quality--that takes 6 innings) starts and the hitting looking pretty dadgum good. If the bullpen comes around, these guys just might amount to something this year.

Yes it is for many reasons.

Most of the people on this board are not from Boston so they don't have allegiance to all of our teams.

Their loss.

What's word on Mook and X ?

Mook is day to day. X is on the DL and one commentator says the Sox should not bring him back too quickly, which makes sense to me. I hope Cora leaves Lin at SS until Bogie is healed. Then move Lin to 2B or, worst case, primary backup infielder.

By the time the Patriots were invented, my NFL allegiances were already formed. I would no more root for them than I would for the Braves.

No Bogey, no XB, no Pedey, yet we still keep winning.

(Also, no Pom, Wright and others, as well.)

I'm one of those, but I'm starting to change. I've always been a partial Celtics fan, splitting time with OKC (hence the username). I watched the entire Bruins game last night and looked forward to it all day, and the Patriots have always been a huge part of my life. I watch all of their games with my dad, and was rooting for them in the Super Bowl

I lived in Milwaukee during my formative years. I'm still a Packer and Bucks fan, but I switched to the Red Sox when I moved to maine at the same time the Brewers traded my favorite player, Tommy Harper, to the Sox.

In 15 games we've only had 2 bad starts by our rotation, 1 by E-Rod and 1 by Price.

As long as the team continues to play well and win, there is no reason to rush Xander back. Give him time to heal properly and completely.

Are you from the Boston area and have you been a NY Giants fan? If so, that is very understandable. There are loads of people in this area that still cheer for the Giants.

My best friend's Father played for the Giants so I get to hear all types of stuff from the older era of NFL ball. Ever heard of Ray Wietecha?

Cora has stated on TV that Bogey will not see game action until he is 100%.

I am usually very suspect of such comments but this time with Cora saying it I tend to believe him.

Cora has stuck to his word when he says something. So I tend to believe him also.

No. Maine. The only games we got were the Giants (football), and I hated them the same way I had been trained to hate the Yankees. I rooted for whoever played against them, and my teams were variously Browns (bec. of J. Brown), Eagles (Chuck B played both ways), Colts (bec. of the greatest game ever played) and finally the Packers. I believe Dallas soon occupied the "hate-at-all-costs" approach I had used as a kid for the Giants. (Wietecha--the name is vaguely familiar, so I looked him up-- is a little late for me).

On the radio, the announcers said that it was the coldest game time in Fenway history.

I can believe that.

Yes Sir. I have a "baseball card" of him. He went on to coach with Vince Lombardi. My friend used to be a ball boy for the Packers and would play catch with Bart Starr who my friends say was a giant dick.
