I think when we are very old, and talking to our grandchilden about baseball, we will be talking about possibly the best we have ever seen in our lifetime. And that guy would be Mookie...

 

He's definitely well on his way. You just don't see guys this dominant while being this young. Out of all the Red Sox games in my life I've watched, one of them I remember so well and was just so amazed was the game two years ago where Mookie in the span of three innings: robbed Bryce Harper of a home run, stole 2nd and 3rd on the same play because no one was covering 3rd and hit a home run.

He had a few games in a couple of months where he pounded some crappy pitcher for multiple runs....... if you look at the games where he got multiple hits, every other Sox player was hitting that pitcher.........

I agree. We would have been selling high, very high. He would have brought back a lot. We might not have had to part with Moncada if we were willing to part with Bradley.

I've been hoping Pom would prove me wrong in that he was one of the worse trades we made in recent years.

 

I see nothing to deter that opinion, but I was hoping he could at least be a serviceable BOTRS. If he can't stay in a rotation....he's not even that.
