Mea Culpa my friend.....and the rest of you as well. Bogey has won me over. I got home late and just tuned in when Nava came to the plate and laid down that great bunt to move Napoli to second. Xander didn't hammer the ball---he did it even better. He fought off a tough inside pitch and inside outed it to right for a hit that won the game. Seems there wasn't much hitting tonight---we only got four, but it was enough to win. Tonight the pitching came through and that makes the day.

For sure, tomorrow is the game. Is Bucky crying in the shower wishing he would be anywhere other than at Fenway tomorrow, or is he deep in an a Indian War chant on how he will come out and be a warrior tomorrow. Bucky is a big key to the Sox season.

Good win last night. I'm really digging the way this team plays, never giving up or giving in. Hard-nosed baseball. And because of the off-season signings, Bogy can be 'just another guy' out there and not the focus of everything, like he and JBJr were last year. I think that is helping him.

Couldn't believe the velocity Kelly had still working for him into the 6th. That heater at 96-98 sets up everything else if he can keep it in the zone. I really hope he stays healthy. I really think that he is a key player for us. he may be the key with respect to the starters.

I mentioned this last night. He must be over 200 pitches in his two starts combined. The fact that he was chucking the gas that late in his outing was at once impressive and alarming. Especially after the arm soreness leaving camp.

 

But as you say, Farrell must know more about it than us!!!

 

I hope that he can sustain this type of performance. Then pen will take an even bigger beating if he does not.
