Harang and Porcello both had a 2.7 WAR last year. Harang had a 3.57 FIP and Porcello a 3.67 FIP. Harang is a bum and Porcello is making $20 million.

Whata irony.

Last year was Harang's best year since Obama has been in office. Nice stat cherry picking though.

Common sense!

Right, because Harang has massive upside compared to a 26-year old in the middle of his prime. Are you people serious with this crap?

I think they are. Part of it is an overreaction to a game in April. Part of it is people sniffing glue while living under high tension wires.

I don't think high tension wires have been linked to any medical conditions, but continue wearing your tinfoil hat. Few can carry it off like you do.

Oh well.

I thought Porcello looked okay except for the long ball. He kind of lost it the last two innings.

Onward!

He pitched pretty well up to the HR ball. It wasn't the HR ball that killed him, it was the walk before that, which led to the single because of the runner being held on by the 1B. Personally, I thought that some of the pitches on that walk should have been strikes. Or maybe I'm just a homer.

LOL You are too funny.

I liked the overreaction to Game 1 much better.

High tension wires by themselves, maybe not. But sniffing glue while living under them, huge problem!

Disappointed to lose the game, but they weren't going to go 162-0 anyway. I thought Porcello was fine. I mean, who woulda thought that Jeff Francouer would hit the game-winning HR? Tells you how bad the pitch was, I guess, since he can't hit... Defense was a little clunky as well, with Pedey making that throwing error and KFP adding one later. Most nights we'll score more than 4 runs. I sure thought Hanley's hit was out.

Weather was really miserable here; I live 50 miles from Philly. Another one like last night, tonight.
