Lots of things:

Who's down on the farm, Farrell's terrible managing, misuse of mojo, how awesome Hanley is and why he actually needs a bigger helmet, among other things. The problem is you literally only sign in to complain about s***.

I agree with all of that and you can add the fact that Craig is still on the team to the list. To be fair, I haven't been here in a long long time. I started getting a little excited with the offense and youth, but it's a damned waste with the pitching staff. Anyway, when things are going right... nothing really has to be said... just enjoyed!

It's all part of Ben's master plan. ;)

No, no no. It is on Fred, don't you get it? :)

TW101 has not been in a while, and guess what, the same ******* calling him out because he is making an opinion about this pitching, but since it is not a good one, he is a whinner already. What poster do you think is behind this? What are the odds on that?

Craig's gonna get cut. On the bright side, there's a pretty good chance Miley, Porcello and Kelly improve significantly. But Masterosn's arm and Buchholz' head are f***ed.

The Red Sox own the worst ERA in baseball-- dead last out of 30 teams. There is nothing positive to take from that. There is no silver lining to that story and there are no excuses.

As I Said to Fred, what worries me now is the BP which btw is not that good.

They need to climb about 10 spots on that list to have any hope of hovering around .500 and remaining competitive. If the pitching remains last in ERA into the latter part of June, mid- season pitching acquisitions will not be a consideration.

Our staff is in trouble without Tanaka, but our pen is f***ing balls. Your rotation has your team in a hole from the get go and your pen isn't very good either. I said it before the year, your pitching will kill you. If Tanaka isn't as hurt as I think he is, and he comes back as the same guy we've seen this year, you won't be making July acquisitions, you'll be dealing parts off for prospects

You're saying Tanaka is the key to our season?

I think Tanaka is f*cked. Anytime they start talking about 'forearm' issues, seems like a call to Dr Andews isn't far behind.

I don't think its possible for this pitching to stay this bad, there has to be improvement. I'm not very high on most these pitchers but these guys have to improve at least a little bit. Will it be enough for a playoff run? I doubt it, but it can only get better at this point.

I don't think they will be dead last, but they need to improve about 8 spots just to stay at .500 for the season.

That young ******* likes to attack posters and fails to realize that it is that that causes s*** to fly on the board. You attack the front office, the ownership, the players---you do NOT attack or get personal with your fellow posters. I don't know who many times we have said that Ted but it seems to fall on deaf ears because there seems to be a small group that enjoys reading personal attacks and give fodder to dickweeds like that to practice their s***.

There is always a silver lining.

All of our starters have xFIPs and Sieras significantly lower than their ERAs. Chances are, they will all regress.

No one expects the starting pitching to be awesome, but they should be a fair amount better than what they've been.

The bet still there if you want. 100 bucks?

I have better things to spend money on than dick measuring contests.

It's easy money, Porcello is an ace!

He's no ace. He's a fine #2 to me.

Well, An ERA under 4 from a No 2, still easy money, right?

He's not going finish the year with an ERA under 4. That said, I think he's a good middle of the rotation guy, just not an Ace. He pitched a good game tonight though.

To me he is a #4 type (aroumd 4.5 ERA) and his ceiling is at No. 3 (4 ERA pitcher). My optimistic take is that he finishes this year posting an ERA around 4, reason why I put that line for those who think that he is a No. 2, and not to say for those who think that he is a No. 1.
