Welcome to the AL, Damaso.

EDIT: When pronounced right, does that sound like "dumb *******"?

Wilson's hitting? I thought this was the situation they got The Big Sexy for?
Girardi might be a little stupid. The Yankees turned a blowout loss into a heartbreaking 1 run loss.

And he K's. The genius of Girardi is like the light from the sun. If you look straight at it, it could blind you.

You worry about the field later. Truthfully, I don't think Sexson would have had much of a chance against Sherrill anyways. Damn, three losses in a row. At least the Sox didn't capitalize.

Put Rodriguez in the field' date=' move Giambi to DH and put Sexson at 1B?[/quote']

You can't move a player to the DH. The pitcher would have to hit.

Soi it was planned stupidity' date=' not spur of the moment.[/quote']

What else should he have done? They gave Rodriguez a day off from the field. It happens.

12-3 Angels. Bottom 9. They are a scary good team.

But as is typical of Yankee luck, Tori Hunter (who is red hot) is going on bereavement leave because his granny died. Of course Frank Big Hurt Thomas will be back with the A's this weekend.

I guess you didn't read the reports. According to several sources an unknown Yankee official had a hand in the death of Torii's grandmother...

Another conspiracy.:shock:Stupidly, I was attributing it to lucky coincidence.

Pettitte had nothing last night. He couldnt locate the fastball, the curve was flat and the cutter spun. You have those days. Just sometimes you can gut it out against inferior opponents. Against the angels, you wont. Ponsoon on the bump tonight. I have a funny feeling he is actually not awful tonight. But we never seem to his Ervin. This series, even though it is at home, might be a f***in sweep

Jacko, take a look at Ervin's start against the Yankees last year on the day before the ASB. To say they never hit him is incorrect (although your judgement is probably clouded by game 5 of the 2005 ALDS which is understandable). I'm not saying that they'll hit him tonight, just saying that they have got to him in the past.
