Nice...I was there too. Did you have good seats?

No, I sat way in the back.

I was on the third base side of the bleachers. Do you live in the Fort Worth area?

The Yankees take the lead on a roller that hits the 3rd base bag.

Well, at least he got Cano to ground out. A base hit there would've really been trouble. Hopefully the Angel bats can put up some runs tonight.

Texeira hit a rope double down the RF line to start the third inning and Vlad knocked him in on the first pitch. Kennedy is keeping right at the 9 ERA mark.

Garret Anderson puts the Angels ahead 4-3 in the 3rd inning with none out in the third. Now Kendrick puts them ahead 5-3 as Nady watches a lazy fly fall in in RF. Kennedy is knocked out without getting an out in the second inning. He has surpassed his 9 ERA pace. He sucks big time.

Home Run Derby Weaver is at it again. He gives up a laser beam HR to Nady and a triple to Cano that hit Vlad in the head. Angels leading only by one run 6-5.

Journeyman Bruney comes in and gives up two hard hits-- a single to Rivera and a double to the heavy hitting Jeff mathis (.208). Angels 8 -5 with 2nd and 3rd and one out. Top of the order up

Bruney was looking damn good at the beginning of the yr. Now, s/p injury, he has lost the life on his fastball. What I saw in April was a guy who could throw 98mph but instead, changed to a guy throwing 92 with a ton of life. Now that he has come back from injury, the straight heater is back. If he stays like this, he'll continue to get killed

No, actually my family usually goes to one or two road Yankee series every year during the summer (I live in NY). So this year we choose to go to this series.

Ugh. I know they didn't show a definitive angle, and I know the throw beat him, but Melky really looked safe on the play at the plate in the 7th inning. That could prove to be a real turning point.

EDIT: I'm really trying not to make excuses, and the game being tied is entirely Veras' fault. But I just watched the replay again online, that was a bad call. Changed the entire game. Instead of first and third, one out, and the score 4-1, it was first and third two outs and the score 3-1. Huge difference.
