It's impossible to know who they'll play as seeding is pretty open in east. We'll know opponents and scheduled times after regular season ends Wednesday.

The playoffs this year might be the best ever. You got Russ and Harden going head to head in the first round, with my beloved OKC fighting as a #6 seed. If they advance, and I think they have a decent chance, they'll get the Spurs, who they beat in the playoffs last year. The way the Cavs are playing, one of the lower seeds in the East might give them a good run, but can you imagine the atmosphere at The Garden if the Cavs play the Celts in the Conference Finals, with the Celtics having home court advantage?

Isaiah Thomas' sister killed in car accident. Only 22. Heartfelt condolences to the Thomas & Celtics families.

This is brutal. WAY too young.

Story says she wasn't wearing seat belt. There is simply no excuse for not wearing one. I'm in NO way in any shape or form saying she deserved this. I'm saying it might have saved her life if she was. That's all.

That's awful. Not a Celtics fan but you never wish that on anyone. Wishing IT and his family the best and I expect him to ball out today.

Jazz steal game 1 from Clippers on a Joe Johnson buzzer beater, while missing Rudy Gobert. I don't think their a championship contender or anything but I really like that Jazz squad. Gordon Hayward is so underrated it's ridiculous.

OKC fell flat on their face against the Rockets, and the Bulls looked much better than I thought they would against the Celtics. But, I still think the Celts will win in 6.

Houston will be the first team this year to blow a 3-1 lead, joining the Thunder, Warriors, and Guardians last year.

I doubt that. Westbrook doesn't have any help. Harden was the Rockets 4th leading scorer last night and they still won.

if Hayward reunites with Stevens and we get the right draft pick, this team will take off in the future for real. Celtic Pride - 176

They can go in so many different directions this offseason it should be interesting.

Even if the Celts luck into the top pick is that player the type of impact player that will put the Celts in position to be a top contender?

I don't think so, rookies take time to develop, and two of the top prospects are PGs (Fultz and Ball), I think Celtics best option would be looking to trade the pick for one of these stars allegedly available (Jimmy Butler, Paul George, etc).

The draft pick alone no, i don't think so but if they were able to sign Heyward they would be very very close. their future would look outstanding. iIf they thought that they could convince Heyward to come to Boston, I would never trade that pick.

That game last night was the single greatest performance I have seen live. IT dug deep. If the Celtics hadn't come back from 0-2 vs the Bulls, I would say that this series is over.

Ive come to the conclusion from these playoffs that

1. Cavaliers don't have any real competition in east

2. Warriors don't have any real competition in west

3. john wall is 2nd best player in East behind Lebron

4. Kyrie Irving is most overrated player In league.

Wall is one of the best players in the league.

But the Celtics prevailed to face Cleveland in the Conference Finals.

If Cleveland brings their A Game it's over in 4.

Otherwise I see the Celts stealing a game.

Next year may be different depending on what Danny does in the off-season.

Am really disappointed in Wizards GM for building that sack of s*** bench, the fact Wall and Beal couldn't come out of any of the games in this 7 game series for more than a minute or two was pathetic. Dudes balled their asses off and did everything they could, but you could tell at the end of some of those games they were worn out. However, realistically, I didn't see Wizards winning more than a game or two anyway against Cleveland, so its whatever.

Might as well just fast forward to GSW/Cavs finals we've been all anticipating. If Lebron somehow wins that one, he might actually be considered the GOAT.

too many 3 balls fired and too many turnovers for me but i'm watching. i do like the intensity and the physicality the Celtics have. not enough to beat the Cavs but to be one of the last 4 standing is a good thing.

Beal played out of his mind last night. Wall was playing really well until the 4th Quarter. He straight up disappeared towards the end of the game.

I was down on Olynkyk before last night's game and I'm still down on him today. He's fine for a role player, but I think he gets too many minutes. When poor shooting Marcus Smart is hitting 3's, it's hard for the C's to lose.

They are going to get smoked by the Cavs.

I actually caught this game last night since there was no Red Sox game. It was great game i thought. Haven't watched NBA in a very long time. Beal was unstoppable. Until the Celts started their aggressive transition defense and kept stealing the ball on the inbounds or shortly there after, the game was pretty tight.

Olynkyk was an offensive star last night for sure. he does have some amazing offensive skils. He is a definite defensive liability for sure though. i like Smart. He is tougher than hell and can guard just about anyone. Actually Crowder and Smart are players that most teams would love to have. The best have players like Beal, who if you have any kind of lapse on the defensive end they will score. The Celtics are still a ways away from being the best but they are heading in that direction.
