It was lucky for the Heat that he got the opportunity to shoot it. But the shot itself was something he's been making his whole career.

I understand this (I'm a big UConn and Ray Allen fan) however he was off balance when he shot it, unlike a lot of his normal catch and shoot plays. His shoulders weren't square and he looked kind of twisted. Those shots normally end up air balls....but it was Ray Allen.

The only sports team I really care deeply about are the Sox so I'm a pretty impartial observer of the NBA, I think. I think this Finals is an epic battle between two really evenly-matched teams that are pounding the snot out of each other. Both teams have too many superior offensive players to keep bottled up for very long. It's last man standing...

And they are going to have to blow Miami into Cuba in order to win game 7. I hate the LeBron already had "two time NBA champ" shoes prior to game 6. I hope they lose and those shoes get sent to be eaten by kids in Africa.

f*** the Heat, f*** the majority of bandwagon Heat fans, f*** basketball, f*** God, f*** my luck, f*** my karma, f*** eyyrebody and eyyrethang. I'm done watching basketball. Basketball is now in 4th place behind hockey imo. Not even the Bruins winning the cup would salvage my favorite team losing to the team I hate the most.

Oh and f*** the Heat.

I love how Popovich stubbornly keeps Ginobili (who's washed up and keeps turning ball over) and Green (useless when he's not wide open, which he never is anymore) in the game, but plays the mad scientist substitution game with the rest of his guys, who are actually contributing.

What a dope.

I'm not even a Spurs fan but it was hard watching those guys walk down that hallway, having been borked by their coach's foolishness.

The Spurs had game 6 too and lost it. Miami didn't win the title, the Spurs lost it. That was giftwrapped.

The worst part is that Miami is going to celebrate like they did something and they weren't just handed a series. And the fans are going to act like hot s*** because they had a mediocre team and signed the best player in the NBA and another top 10 player (something any team can do) and won games.

Was a nice series.

Unless you're a Spurs fan. This was the single worst series I have ever seen. If you asked me what the worst possible outcome for the season would be, it would be Miami beating the Spurs in 7 games. This is equivalent to Aaron Boone's HR in 2003 for me.

I really admire Tim Duncan, who IMO is the most underrated great player in history. He is a Hall of Famer who has had almost no fanfare in his career. Winning another championship would have topped off his brilliant career.

Well, I used to root for the Super Sonics when the velocy raptor Shawn Kemp played there and faced Jordan in the finals in a very exciting series. I grew up watching Jordan, Bird, Magic, Barkley, Thomas, Olahuwon, Pippen, Stockton, Malone, Robinson, etc.

Honestly since then I lost interest in basketball because the league is not the same IMO. I watched a couple of games of this series and at least was entertaining mostly the 6th game.

These days I root the Boston Celtics but I do not follow them that much.

I don't think it could of worked out better for Lebron, people say he isn't clutch and all that s*** and he comes out and has an absolutely dominant performance in a game 7 to lead the Heat to victory, this of course after his huge 4th quarter/overtime in game 6. Also, it was nice to see Ray Allen get another ring, I've been a fan of his.

I also wanted to mention, Shane Battier was absolutely huge tonight. Hell of a game for him.

The tidal of wave of butthurt over LeBron/the Heat's success is just glorious.

Ital gets a pass because he has a valid reason to be pissed, being a Spurs fan.

Yeah, I'd say my Spurs fan part has a right to be upset, but my Heat hater part not so much.

For what it's worth I thought the Heat were the best team in the league going into the season and LeBron has certainly changed his earlier career conceptions of not being clutch. The Heat were clutch (albeit lucky too)

I think I understand how Yankees fans felt in 2004 when Rivera blew the save in game 4 and then let the Sox win 3 more

That happened to the Bruins a few years ago when they were up 3-0 and had a 3 goal lead in game 4. I'm a Flyers fan so I enjoyed that, but then we lost to the Blackhawks in the finals. (Which is among the reasons why I don't like the Blackhawks now and am rooting for the Bruins in this finals)

So it looks like Doc Rivers is going to the Clippers for a 2015 1st round pick. Still no idea what's going to happen with Garnett or Pierce but that smaller trade benefits both teams in my opinion.
