Whoopty freaking do!!!!! In a most miserable season for the ages, the LA Lakers actually finally won a game and against our historic rival Boston Celtics, 107-104. There hasn't been much for this Lakers fan to cheer about this season so excuse me if I show a rare display of elation over this turn of events.

Rondo is back and is slow as s***. He can still finish near the rim, but doesn't have that first step at the moment. We'll have to see if that speed returns this year.

Well if you're keeping score you have to know that the Lakers are in the running for those lottery balls too. I mean we are real s***** this season, but historically the LA Lakers have always considered the Celtics their biggest rivals due to all those NBA Finals they've battled in. The fact the Celts lead 8-3 in those series gives Laker fans a little more joy when they beat the Green.....kind of like when the Red Sox clean house on the Yankees as we did last season.

Yeah they are ugly as s***... I don't understand this sleeved jersey s***.. The players have complained about it affecting shooting and they are horrible looking.

Shirts with sleeves cost more money than shirts without sleeves. Makes for more NBA money.

The irony of all this lottery chasing is the Celtics actually have a chance to win their division, with the two NY teams being so bad to date.

At least that was before they decided to really get serious about losing lately. LOL.

I had to google who the NBA player was on the Coco Pebbles commercial. Clearly, I have lost interest in the NBA. If there were less fouls and the last two mintues didn't stretch to 20, I'd be able to follow it more.

I've almost completely lost interest in the NBA and not just because "my hometown team" is not relevant now.

The game has changed esthetically and many rules have altered the character of the game. Call me old school or whatever. If many of you younger members had been around to see the NBA of the '60s-'80s, you would probably understand how I feel. I don't like the run and gun perimeter game where you are allowed to walk with the ball and play zone defense. I am on the fence about the 3 point shot only because I enjoyed it in the ABA game. Give me a low post game with banging and rebounding anytime.

I hate how glamorized it is, every big market team gets the good trades, the good free agents, and they act like dbags purposely to get more followers on Twitter. It hurts the distribution of talent, and also, the Timberwolves are just never good anymore. We lose KG and it's all over, I remember in '04 when we were a top 3 team in the entire NBA, we made it to the finals, and that was the last time we made the playoffs. I can't believe that was 10 years ago, I remember how stoked I was that we got Sprewell and Cassell, 10 years later that was the last year we made it to the playoffs. Time really flies, even when you're not having any fun.

Lebron just went f***ing insane tonight. He has been on a ridiculous tear lately, and despite some people claiming Durant is better, Lebron is still best in league and has at the least made MVP race very close if he hasn't taken lead already

2)Crazy how the Heat just come from behind and win like every game. It doesn't help the refs can't call s*** right. Terible officiating for dominate teams like the Heat.

A few years ago I was at a Wizards/Bulls game when Wizards sucked ass and got killed every game. The game was in DC but there was a decent amount of Bulls fans at the game. But when Scalabrine came in, everyone, Wizards and Bulls fans started chanting MVP and the place blew up when he banked in a jumper lmao.
