    I don't disagree, but there is a lot of gray area at the margins. I wouldn't have liked a trade of Arias for either Neto or Abrams, but would've been pretty okay with a swap of Arias for DLC. And sometimes I can be talked into a trade. As I posted in the Mayer trade, it was a little shock to the system. I thought he should be traded, but an RP and a non-premier prospect seemed weak. Now I am good with it. Is that a testament to my awesome analytical skill, or did homerism just set in?

    First team on the list. Too bad the TDL passed, or else we'd have gotten something for him.

    Maybe, and I am just spit-balling here, maybe the fact that we have a fair amount of guys from AAAA that had to make use of every skill they could learn. The 25-HR guys probably spend less time practicing the bunt.

    I can't imagine what the WS manager must've been thinking. Like, I tried the silver bullet, I tried the stake thru the heart, what now? A few more innings, and he'd have been waiting for the sunlight to hit us.

    I almost posted the same thing. I don't want to give players away, but if I get what I want, I simply don't care how well the other team does.

    You always have to consider what the other team will do.

    That's always a pet peeve of mine. If a guy gets traded in the off-season, then questioning whether we should've matched is fair game. But if a team held onto their player, it either means they had no intention of trading them, or their ask was so high that none of the other 29 teams wanted him. edit-Having finished reading your post, it appears that you said the same thing.

    I know the mitt protects the hand, but can't they put little tiny claws on the end of it to produce some drag over the base? It seems like we've been over-sliding a fair amount.

    My wife does the same. I'm pretty good at recognizing the names, but she also uses the up-down arrows instead of page-up/page-down. I can see 7 titles at once and mostly know what I want, but not when the page is scrolling up and down. But since I was the poster-boy for ADD, I say nothing.

    I'd never seen him before and never heard of him. He laid off 2-3 tough pitches. It was a nice showing. And Mead and Rogers are both sporting .500 OBPs.

    That's more like only 3 million to 1. I was going to post the same thing in my previous response. Pitchers throw it away about 50% of the time, or so it seems.
