  1. Just say no to Castillo. if we are doing a deal with Seattle, the only Seattle pitcher that I think works in Fenway is Bryce Miller. I do not think we waste time talking about the other pitchers! except for Anthony, Campbell, teel and Montgomery, every other position prospect needs to be on the trade list along with every position player in Boston not named devers or rafeala
  2. Mayer and teel both need more time before they are ready. The guy that is 100 percent ready is meidroth, but meidroth is never going to be a 20 home run guy. Anthony campbell meidroth fitts Guerrero penrod potentially 6 rookies on the roster for 2025 opening day
  3. I agree! I think he has another year in the tank. But he will probably only sign with us if we are contenders in 2025!
  4. Anthony was 1 for 1 with 4 walks tonight. They are pitching around a 20 year old in triple A!!!! I hope he and Campbell start next season in Boston!!!
  5. Seems like a lot of our younger guys have crashed into the rookie wall, rafeala, abreau, Wong, and duran! Then we have a lot of hitters injured or playing hurt! the lack of depth has definitely hurt us in the back half of 2025!
  6. A lot of guys hung up on our ability to get Bryce miller in a trade! I found two other guys that have similar stuff and might work in Fenway! birdsong and Irwin! not sure if bres-slow can dance with their current gm’s, especially Washington, but these two guys could help our rotation in 2025, I think!
  7. Does shutting down Campbell for the rest of this season hurt his chances to earn the 2nd base job to start the year in 2025?
  8. Dobbins and valera are two of my breakout stars of 2024. dobbins with decent stuff. Over 120 innings pitched. ERA under 3.1. Almost as many strikeouts as innings pitched. .237 batting average against! Need to work a bit on command and control with 48 walks
  9. Poor teel, what a nightmare!!! And dobbins pitched a whale of a gene
  10. And will our fan base have patients if we miss the playoffs in year 1 by 2 games because of the slow start while the prospect was in triple A???? from what have seen, they seem to be very impatient
  11. Anthony had a nice game tonight! Seems like he gets things started and people feed off of him. And he is so young for triple A
  12. Hang’em Chaim did a great job of rebuilding the baseball analytics department! He did an amazing job! why he ignored pitching is beyond my ability to comprehend
  13. He does seem to prefer the trade route, and unlike hang’em Chaim, he actually completes trades! the GM in Seattle is a trade guy as well! there is a trade to be made between the two teams and as long as we get miller without losing Anthony, Campbell or teel, then it will be a good move for us.
  14. Bres-slow is after near ready MLB starting pitchers just like everybody else. unlike most every other team, we struggle to develop our own. thus far, he has traded spare parts for a veteran (Paxton). and he has traded a quality minor leaguer for a near major league ready pitcher who needs work! this offseason, he should not have the same budget constraints. I think he tries to find young ML ready pitching for roster players and high quality prospects not named Anthony, Campbell or teel!
  15. The 2024 team was very impressive and sent a lot of talent to Worcester this year. I think the 2025 team has a chance to have better pitching than the 2024 team
  16. If a guy can help the main team, why worry about service time so much
  17. I hope Meidroth gets an opportunity in training camp. He can flat out get on base
  18. Didn’t we have extra infielders when we unloaded bagwell????
  19. If the Sox think they can move yoshida, who is on fire now, this offseason, then offering O’Neil a QO is a no brainer. we move cassas, abreau yoshida and Crawford for Bryce miller!!
  20. think of where they would be if they could even remotely hit left handed pitching?
  21. High risk high reward trades.
  22. Priester is a work in progress for 2025
  23. I do not think Castillo fits our desired target for a pitcher. but the Seattle GM loves to make deals. Both teams can improve their teams by trading from strength
  24. I agree. We have to improve pitching and defense
  25. There is no doubt hang’em Chaim caused the pitching issues we face now. but Bres-slow seems reluctant to address it via free agency
