    Is there any real correlation here??? I mean whoever caught Houck early in the year caught him when he was fresh got a huge advantage over those who caught him in the second half when he had a dead arm

    Monegro is hard to figure! I watch him and I see a guy with stuff that should have him throwing batting practice, but then he gets in the game and somehow he just gets batters out!!!! I have no idea how he does it!!!

    We are losing 4 relievers in free agency so we need to add as much depth as possible to the bullpen

    Step 1 - we have to trade yoshida. Step 2 - we sign fried. Step 3 - we use whatever combination of players and prospects (excluding Anthony Campbell and teel) necessary to help Seattle improve their offense so we can pry Bryce Miller out of their control. Step 4 - open competition at all four infield positions among all infield players not included in trades with the goal of fielding the best hitting and fielding team possible.

    Fitts is in my small list perales is coming off ucl replacement I am not as high on Sandlin as everybody else. He throws a lot of meat balls tolle - I saw at tcu but who knows how that translates to pro ball

    Big 4 hitters - Anthony, Mayer, Campbell, teel Medium 4 hitters - Montgomery, Garcia, arais, cespedes Small 4 pitchers - Valera, monegro, fitts, dobbins we are so lopsided in the minor leagues

    Devers is a dumpster fire defensively at 3B. But does bres-slow want a full time DH???

    1.) I agree completely. 2.) Mayer may be better suited at 3b according to some scouts. 3.) I agree. 4.) I agree, best man wins. 5.) cassas is a dumpster fire defensively. 6.) I would think that with the contract rafeala signed and the defense he provides, he is not the worst 9 hole hitter we have ever had. 7.) I agree teel is not ready. 8.) I think we need 2 quality starters and 2 quality relievers. Our lack of depth was exposed again in 2024.

    I saw Montgomery pitch twice in 2024. he looked to me like he had dead arm for the whole year. Nothing was as sharp as in the 2023 playoffs. Nothing broke with any sharpness. Does that mean he comes back strong in 2025 or does that mean he has started his decline ???? Fortunately Bres-slow and Bailey are better equipped than us to figure that out!!!! Would Arizona be interested in taking yoshida off our hands???? Maybe bres-slow can figure something out ????

    I would sign fried in a heart beat this offseason . But I would try to keep it to a 4 year deal.

    I agree 100 percent. our 4 priorities should be 1.) to improve the starting pitching 2.) improve the bullpen and the depth of the bullpen. 3.) improve the defense and 4.) reduce strikeouts. I think we only move Duran if we accomplish the first goal! i think Bryce miller projects really well in Fenway, but we have many other major league players and prospects to offer before we should part with Duran! Including abreau, cassas. Wong, yoshida and about a dozen middle infielders

    Offseason to do list! 1.) improve starting pitching 2.) improve bullpen and depth of bullpen, 3.) improve infield defense 4.) cut down on the massive strikeouts

    Bres-slow should sign fried first and foremost, then call Seattle about Bryce miller and the brewers about Devin Williams
