I think too many fans are impatient and not willing to give the youngsters the time to grow and develop major league consistency!!! at some point, around August 1st, they are going to be closing in on their innings limits. let’s hope crochet and Sandoval are back by then!

Bennett, evayson and Phillips (yes Phillips) all with good starts tonight. Salem pitchers combined for 13 strike outs tonight. (Golf clap!!!). And …. 13 walks tonight (we need smelling salt for those that passed out)

2 more to keep your eye on, in your spare time: M. White - love the swing. Please do not sleep on him. If he can learn to pick up the spin of the ball and hit off speed and not chase with two strikes, he might surprise some people, tucker - defensively, he makes devers look like a gold glover!! But offensively, he reminds me of a young rafeala!!! Strange how a guy with no plan, strategy or vision when he steps in the batters box, is able to get so many hits!!! Definitely a guy to watch (in your spare time) going forward.

The pipeline of young hitting talent is not totally dry for Boston. I just saw this kid for Salem, named andujar and although he may have gone zero for 4 today, his swing is really impressive! Might be the next guy to watch, As far as hitting goes….. andujar could be the next Azocar, and Azocar is the next Gonzales and Gonzales is the next arias!

Wait! What?? I do not think you are accounting for the player’s agent and the agent’s control of the client and what the agent thinks is best for the agent, even at the player’s expense! have you ever sat down and had a conversation with any of these agents??? There are guys on death row, that have done less evil in the world than most of the agents have in baseball!

I agree 100 percent that the official scorers are horrible. I think they are all retired Yankee scouts!

I did not realize until I read it today that Cespedes suffered from hamate bone surgery all last season. thus far, a healthy hand and wrist has been very beneficial to his overall numbers.

His stuff was not really super sharp tonight. it looked like he was working on secondary stuff, velocity was noticeably lower tonight. That 60 pitch count they use for college pitchers is baffling to me!
