I value Anthony highly, but the only way Seattle is trading Miller and woo for Anthony is if they know both pitchers have damage to their arms.

I do think Soto is a fantastic talent, but signing him wrecks the goals set forth by management. I am all for trading anybody on our current roster, except devers and rafeala for pitching

I would say no to both of those.

Only 1 team in the playoffs this year. But I feel much better about our farm team than I did in April

Anthony, teel, Campbell and Montgomery would be the 4 that I do not trade under any circumstance. I think we have to be honest about how successful castillo can be pitching in Fenway

Roster construction is a huge consideration. I am very intrigued by what bres-slow does with a large group of redundant position places to help us fill huge holes in the rotation and bullpen!! I see second base as a battle between Campbell and Grissom. Personally , I think Campbell is better defensively. I guess I am higher on Meidroth than most others. I think he is best at third base.

The fat lady may be warming up to sing, but I feel better about the Red Sox future today than I did this time last year we are literally two starting pitchers and two relievers away from the playoffs

Just say no to Castillo. if we are doing a deal with Seattle, the only Seattle pitcher that I think works in Fenway is Bryce Miller. I do not think we waste time talking about the other pitchers! except for Anthony, Campbell, teel and Montgomery, every other position prospect needs to be on the trade list along with every position player in Boston not named devers or rafeala

Mayer and teel both need more time before they are ready. The guy that is 100 percent ready is meidroth, but meidroth is never going to be a 20 home run guy. Anthony campbell meidroth fitts Guerrero penrod potentially 6 rookies on the roster for 2025 opening day

I agree! I think he has another year in the tank. But he will probably only sign with us if we are contenders in 2025!

Anthony was 1 for 1 with 4 walks tonight. They are pitching around a 20 year old in triple A!!!! I hope he and Campbell start next season in Boston!!!

Seems like a lot of our younger guys have crashed into the rookie wall, rafeala, abreau, Wong, and duran! Then we have a lot of hitters injured or playing hurt! the lack of depth has definitely hurt us in the back half of 2025!

A lot of guys hung up on our ability to get Bryce miller in a trade! I found two other guys that have similar stuff and might work in Fenway! birdsong and Irwin! not sure if bres-slow can dance with their current gm’s, especially Washington, but these two guys could help our rotation in 2025, I think!

Does shutting down Campbell for the rest of this season hurt his chances to earn the 2nd base job to start the year in 2025?

Dobbins and valera are two of my breakout stars of 2024. dobbins with decent stuff. Over 120 innings pitched. ERA under 3.1. Almost as many strikeouts as innings pitched. .237 batting average against! Need to work a bit on command and control with 48 walks

And will our fan base have patients if we miss the playoffs in year 1 by 2 games because of the slow start while the prospect was in triple A???? from what have seen, they seem to be very impatient

Anthony had a nice game tonight! Seems like he gets things started and people feed off of him. And he is so young for triple A

Hang’em Chaim did a great job of rebuilding the baseball analytics department! He did an amazing job! why he ignored pitching is beyond my ability to comprehend
