    Should the duran be the next guy the Red Sox try to extend? Just leave him in left field for the next 6-8 years??? Or is 2024 a one year aberration???

    I think the word on the streets was hang’em Chaim over valued his players and prospects. We are in the unique position that hang’em chaim already over values our players and prospects, therefore we should be an ideal trading partner for him!

    The Red Sox management says that they going to be aggressive this off season in acquiring pitching. but Red Sox management does not want to be burned by huge pitcher contracts, like the terrible sale contract!!! And we have a surplus of middle infielders and left handed bats, then trades are the most logical avenue to pursue in order to acquire more pitching!

    The good news about hang’em Chaim getting promoted in st Louis is we have a ready made trade partner for some left handed bats!!!!!

    I think the guys from the athletic are more concerned with shock value and getting subscriptions than actually doing good investigative journalism they put two and two together and get 7

    MLB just did their end of season top 100 and we got 3 of the top 10! And 4 of the top 25! but I spent some time reading the profile they wrote on Mayer. Basically they said he has instincts and a good first step, but is slow and some scouts think he would be better off at 3rd base!! I know Mayer is not ready for the major leagues yet, but at some point in 2025, if he stays healthy, Mayer will be ready.

    Rather than sign a veteran Japanese pitcher with declining velocity, we need to call our friends in Pittsburgh. They have 2 pitching prospects and we should investigate prying one of them away from Pittsburgh. (Braxton Ashcraft and bubba chandler) Adding either of them is only going to cost us a few prospects and/or expendable major leaguers and bring a better quality pitcher into the organization than we currently have in the system

    Bres-slow mentioned the poor infield defense in his conference. Devers should be a huge topic for internal discussions

    blown saves points to a lack of quality depth in the bullpen. All 26 may not be created equally, but your baseball team is as weak as your weakest player. Hence, no playoffs in three years

    Abreau cassas and yoshida, three lefty hitters that need to be former Red Sox players this off season. Seattle makes perfect sense for a trade partner. maybe San Fran does too

    We ended the year second in blown saves in 2024! There are a couple of free agents that can help us because relying on Hendricks is very scary now

    Yoshida’s shoulder surgery makes trading him a lot more difficult for bres-slow. maybe he can spend most of 2025 on the 60 day DL.
