  1. Is I Campbell the biggest miss of bres-slow’s first off season
  2. I think you nailed the top 7 on your list! I think if cespedes had stayed healthy, he is also a top 100 prospect. I would put this list up against anybody’s top 7 prospects!
  3. Campbell has definitely hit the rookie wall this past week. He is getting out in front of stuff and losing balance because of the funky swing! Needs to stay back on the ball and not open up so early! I would take Campbell over Mayer, but I would take Anthony over anybody including the prospects that graduated this year regardless of team.
  4. Romero looks to have a great first step and gets to balls that most of our SS’s cannot get to. But the throw from deep in the hole, he seems to either make it very nicely or bounce it and I do not know if that is by choice
  5. Campbell is the right handed bat we need in the lineup. He starts 2025 in Boston at 2B and stays there! This kid has a funky swing, but he can flat out hit!
  6. Someone said that 6 out of Romero’s 13 hits at Greenville are taters !!!!! Wow!!!!
  7. We have to figure a way to move yoshida! That DH is so valuable, and yoshida is a dumpster fire defensively in the outfield. 2025 catcher - Wong and gaspar (teel is not ready yet, but will be very close.) 2025 1st base - cassas 2025 2nd base - Campbell (the kid can flat out hit) 2025 SS - story (sadly story makes Chris frail look durable. And Mayer is not ready yet, or much more durable. ) 2025 3rd base - devers (painful to watch defensively, but DH is an option if meidroth can hit) 2025 infield bench- meidroth and Hamilton. (willing to dump Hamilton if someone out performs him. Call to action for sogard, Romy or Valdez.) 2025 outfield - Duran, rafeala, abreau and Anthony (again DH is open for at bats)
  8. And if we were talking about prospects I would agree. but you realize both these guys are successful major leaguers????
  9. When you look at pure stuff, miller is clearly better. But if you want to swap houck and miller with in the rotation, I have no problem with that!
  10. Fair enough. But miller is the guy we are missing in our rotation.
  11. I almost included abreau instead of yoshida. But I assume we are paying all of yoshida for the duration of the contract.
  12. Unfortunately, we cannot change the past. I think we need to move forward assuming the past is written in stone
  13. A lot of people see the 99 mph fastball, but it has little movement on it or it gets too much white part of the plate. You look at winkleman’s fastball and it has tons of movement, but ends up outside the strike zone or hitting the guy on deck!! (Haha) the question Bailey needs to answer is if they can get penrod’s spin rate right, can the ball should get some life. Also can penrod learn to live on the black part of the plate
  14. I consider Crawford and priester and fitts as depth pieces only. We have to get 2 top of the rotation arms to be a playoff team next year
  15. I know I am in the minority here, but I see houck as a 3 at best in a rotation! in 2024 offseason, I want to see us sign fried. I know he has durability issue's, but his stuff is amazing. Fried would be #1 in our rotation. then comes the big trade. Seattle needs bats badly. I propose we trade cassas, yoshida, Hamilton and hagenman to Seattle for Miller. Miller slides in as #2 in our rotation. 2025 rotation 1.) fried 2.) miller 3.) houck 4.) bello 5.) Gioletta depth - Crawford. Fitts, Criswell
  16. 99 mph fastball is my guess. 6 years of control as a middle reliever with a chance to excel if the command and control improve
  17. Guerrero called up today. I think Anthony and Campbell should break training camp 25 with Boston. I do not think any Worcester pitcher except Hendricks is capable of starting 2025 in Boston.
  18. For the pitching, it’s like almost everybody is over slotted. 1.) Our 3-4-5 rotation pitchers are pitching 1-2-3 in the rotation. 2.) our depth pieces are now 4-5 in the rotation. 3.) except for Martin and Jansen , everybody in the bullpen is over slotted. Many should be depth pieces at Worcester instead of Boston. this is all the result of injuries, lack of depth and hang’em Chaim’s inability to draft pitching this offseason, we need 2 top of the rotation arms and 2 quality relievers, preferably a lefty and righty we get that and our pitching staff gets reslotted properly and we are a payoff team
  19. When fitts velocity is up, he does fine. When fitts velocity dips, he gets crushed
  20. Thank you! Appreciate it
  21. we need to have open competition for the 2nd base position! And the best guy needs to play, we cannot let service years dictate,
  22. Ingrassia is very intriguing. I have not seen enough of him yet to get a good read on his stuff! But it looks impressive
  23. in two days, we should bring up Campbell and stick him at 2b. Dude can hit. total nonsense to think Grissom is a better hitter. I do not know how Campbell is successful, but he can put bat to ball better than the rogues galley listed above
  24. I may be late to the party on this, but has anybody seen judice pitch for Salem? While his stuff is average at best, it is his size that is amazing! He is listed at 6’8” and 230 pounds. He is a huge guy. Got to be the biggest pitcher I have seen in a while!!!
  25. With Hamilton getting hurt, does Campbell get called up in a few days?
