  1. He does seem to prefer the trade route, and unlike hang’em Chaim, he actually completes trades! the GM in Seattle is a trade guy as well! there is a trade to be made between the two teams and as long as we get miller without losing Anthony, Campbell or teel, then it will be a good move for us.
  2. Bres-slow is after near ready MLB starting pitchers just like everybody else. unlike most every other team, we struggle to develop our own. thus far, he has traded spare parts for a veteran (Paxton). and he has traded a quality minor leaguer for a near major league ready pitcher who needs work! this offseason, he should not have the same budget constraints. I think he tries to find young ML ready pitching for roster players and high quality prospects not named Anthony, Campbell or teel!
  3. The 2024 team was very impressive and sent a lot of talent to Worcester this year. I think the 2025 team has a chance to have better pitching than the 2024 team
  4. If a guy can help the main team, why worry about service time so much
  5. I hope Meidroth gets an opportunity in training camp. He can flat out get on base
  6. Didn’t we have extra infielders when we unloaded bagwell????
  7. If the Sox think they can move yoshida, who is on fire now, this offseason, then offering O’Neil a QO is a no brainer. we move cassas, abreau yoshida and Crawford for Bryce miller!!
  8. think of where they would be if they could even remotely hit left handed pitching?
  9. High risk high reward trades.
  10. Priester is a work in progress for 2025
  11. I do not think Castillo fits our desired target for a pitcher. but the Seattle GM loves to make deals. Both teams can improve their teams by trading from strength
  12. I agree. We have to improve pitching and defense
  13. There is no doubt hang’em Chaim caused the pitching issues we face now. but Bres-slow seems reluctant to address it via free agency
  14. You have to give something to get something
  15. This offseason should give us some clear insight into the budget that has been set! Hang’em Chaim had 3 jobs 1.) build up the farm. 2.) get under budget 3.) stay competitive seems like bres-slow has accomplished this better than hang’em Chaim did. pitching is the issue and this is the perfect offseason to add more of it
  16. we have a ton room in the budget we can pay for a lot of yoshida. We have done it in the past
  17. For 2025 defensively LF Duran - below average. CF rafeala - above average. RF Anthony - above average. 4th OF - refsynder - average. 1B devers - dumpster fire. 2B - Campbell - average SS - story - average 3B - meidroth - average. reserve - Romy - below average reserve - Grissom - dumpster fire. reserve - Hamilton - dumpster fire. catcher - wong - dumpster fire, catcher - gasper - below average
  18. He is perfect for Seattle. Iszuki light!!!
  19. I make no claims to the value of the product received by the other teams!!! Haha
  20. Wow!!! Best three way trade ever!! I would do this tomorrow if I could.
  21. Defensively this year, I think the outfield of O’Neil, rafeala, Duran, refsynder, and abreau has been average to maybe decent! Catching is a below average. Wong is a dumpster fire, but Reese and Jansen are decent! the big problem is the infield! The infield is a dumpster fire! 3B - devers is a dumpster fire! ss - everybody not named story had been a dumpster fire. (Rafeala probably is below average at best). 2B - total raging dumpster fire!!!!. 1B - cassas and the others are all below average at best!
  22. 6.) perales - 2nd best stuff in the system (winkleman) how does he respond to surgery? Should be a mid rotation starter by 2026. 12.) fitts - a tale of two pitchers. When the velocity is up, mid rotation starter! When the velocity is down, batting practice pitcher 14.) Sandlin - mediocre stuff with a propensity to throw meatballs. 15.) tolle - mediocre stuff at TCU. 17.)monegro - mediocre stuff but plays up when command and control is good. 18.) dobbins - decent to good stuff. Not sure why he gets no love. 19.) ERC - mediocre stuff. 20.) valera - 3rd best stuff in the system. 21.) cason - unknown. TBD 22.) Guerrero - really good stuff. Command and control is seriously lacking
  23. I think Roman and Campbell start the year in Boston. By mid season 2025, I think the new big 4 will be teel, Mayer, Montgomery and arias! with cespedes pushing hard
  24. Penrod called up to Boston!
