  1. Good solution! So if one of our many poet/posters feels the enthusiastic fit on game day, they can have at it! Thanks.
  2. Well, ok. If consistency is a goal. Personally. I'd go with raggedness and variety. But that's just me. (And I don't notice many posting on game threads that aren't pretty much the same ones who have been posting for years).
  3. Who loses if the game thread is late? If anyone notices that, just start the thread! If no one cares enough to start the thread, there doesn't need to be one.
  4. Not sure what was wrong with letting posters start game threads, where after a win, the poster was obliged to start the next one. Seemed always rather amusing. If no one cares enough to start a game thread ... well there.
  5. So who told Chapman to throw ANYTHING other than high fast balls?
  6. I've never seen nor really heard of Fitts. Location of his pitches seems awesome--is this just his usual style?
  7. No. I never said that. Just leave everything in one forum. Old game threads just move down like other threads. But whatever works, we'll get used to. (Meanwhile ... we suck!)
  8. Why any pitcher throws a strike to Story is beyond me. Just keep it a foot outside and he will wave at it. But good AB regardless. (followed by two atrocious ones).
  9. With all due respect, I actually do not understand what the 'rules' are here. It would be easier just to drop the MG Memorialk Game thread altogether,
  10. Are we no longer supposed to use the MG Mem Game Thread?
  11. He seemed to hit a low, when he got into it with fans and VERDUGO of all people was the one to go out and calm him down. Same season he failed to chase the ball he misjudged, right? Tough time. Can't help but think of Donnie Moore.
  12. Yes, but pro sports do not make any money directly from gambling, right? Gambling only 'increases interest' which in turn generates revenue. Is there any way to calculate what that is?
  13. Wow. I'm sure many of us (each for our own quite different and specific reasons) found this extremely difficult to read. Hang tough, JD!
  14. Wow The Os tv announcers have to be the worst in the league! Do they know there is a baseball game going on?
  15. What is the evidence for 'pouting'? More translations of statements analyzed by people who do not speak the language? Anyway, RS have now successfully turned Devers into a bad player. Nice job. He was once one of the best in the league.
  16. 6 ABs, 5 Ks. Any reasonable contact at all from him?
  17. OK. I confess--totally lost now.
  18. Well he must have been doing that the last time I saw him when he gave up 7 hits in the first and had to sit out an out or two before coming back in.
