  1. I think rich MLB stars are just inherently divas now. Down to earth guys are unicorns.
  2. He needs to keep it up. I'm not going to be all in on a guy just because of one hot stretch. He's going to cool off at some point. What does that look like? Does he go back to 500 OPS month to month or 700 OPS?
  3. He's using both Teacherman (Judge) and Gradum (Narvaez's coaches). Hard to say who he is leaning on more, but Gradum is showing up prior to games to watch him hit batting practice while Teacherman is not.
  4. Anthony had only played in half of one MLB season. Why would Breslow assume he'd be injured in the next season if he had no previous injuries in MiLB? You can make the case for Story, but not Anthony.
  5. We're lucky if the guys teaching them actually played Little League growing up TBH.
  6. Is every player a 530 OPS guy for 2 straight months???
  7. Steamer: 1.2 fWAR ZiPS: 1.4 fWAR Contreras not even halfway through the season: 2.3 fWAR
  8. The specific projection that was weird was "no Sox player would reach 20 HR." They currently have 3 guys that could probably get there and that's with Roman Anthony on a season long IL.
  9. It's your fault for not telling me there was going to be another cliff!
  10. All the coaches are interim, why not the GM too?
  11. I could see them benching Nelly, not demoting him. Same with Alcantara.
  12. He's really regressed post knee injury. He lost a lot of athleticism behind the dish.
  13. I don't think Breslow will be able to pull it off. He is also in the mode of "if we can just string some wins together." Sox need to realize it's a lost season and look towards building for 2027 and beyond.
  14. They could, but he's not really going to bring in a haul. He's more of a guy you move in the offseason.
  15. It shows that some of these guys don't really know the strike zone.
  16. That trade went over very well at the time too.
  17. It's a lottery. As long as they don't get into the playoffs and don't spend too much, they can get it.
  18. That's the real issue, right? He was so lousy for almost two months that the Sox are 13 games under .500 IN JUNE!!! He was hitting 530 at the end of May.
  19. WDYM, the Sox are back in it. They just beat the Yankees and Schittler!
  20. They just had to keep Masa, Duran and Story on the roster. Henry has no interest in going over the final tax threshold.
