    Kyle Freeland has to be one of the worst long term starting pitchers in MLB. Of the pitchers who have thrown 1,000 IP since he came to MLB: 2nd to last in ERA dead last in FIP 3rd to last in xFIP 2nd to last k/9 3rd to last BABIP $74M to be a healthy arm that gets beaten like a rented mule for the Rockies. He's awful at Coors and on the road too.

    No. Dum dum Willl Clark was upset that Raffy didn't work out with him one day, but they talked it over and Clark apologized for being a blowhard about it (as he is about everything). Raffy didn't refuse to work out. You are misremembering. The only thing that happened back then was that he said he wanted to slowly transition into the position because he didn't want to be embarrassed in an MLB game since he had never played there before.

    He'd fit right in as their 4th or 5th catcher, but would be clearly in AAA and not needed on the 40 man.
