  1. He also decided to retain those two players who are now hurting the team rather than helping them.
  2. What does Bichette and Alonso have to do with the 2026 Sox being last place? Wow great offseason! He's in charge of the entirety of the organization, not just "doing moves."
  3. An organization that has a manager that hasn't been out of his depth since day one and can communicate. An organization that has a CBO that isn't brand new and learning on the job and can communicate.
  4. Narvaez can at least field the position. I'd take a good defense but no bat catcher over Wong and Gasper.
  5. Go buy a paper for once in your life. I'm not here to be your google machine. Sheesh.
  6. Especially in Miami. MIA is 5th in C fWAR.
  7. Like I said at the beginning of the series, the Sox will win the series, but will make no ground in the WC. That's what being 10+ games under .500 in June means. Summer is already over.
  8. Mickey Gasper is a AAAA player. He has no business on an Opening Day roster.
  9. You believe the Boston Red Sox isn't a toxic organization?
  10. Like the palace intrigue. I think Breslow is on a short leash.
  11. That wasn't through ARB, that was negotiated. We don't know what it would be if he went to arbitration TBH.
  12. He just needs to be in an organization that's not toxic apparently.
  13. And part of being the CBO is managing situations like this that are happening to your franchise player. Breslow is really doing quite the bang up job!
  14. Made sense as Stanley Tucker was sent down last weekend. They had nobody blocking him at 3b, but he's probably going to need to be moved to 1b. POR now has three RHB 1B/DH types IMO: Brannon, Johanfran and Winnay. Brannon has the most power. Winnay may be the best all around.
  15. I wanted Eaton there on Opening Day. Just seems to always get the job done.
  16. I've tried to in the past, but it's just too much for me. I'm good with just learning about all the guys already in our system rather than the top 50-100 guys in college/high school.
  17. All that I've said is that the bonus pool money has more value than where the actual pick is because the individual picks are huge gambles.
  18. My only concern is how to best allow him to learn how to hit against LHP and offspeed stuff where he's struggled. He's greatly overmatched and being platooned in MLB. Is there a benefit to having him go to AAA, IDK?
  19. Why should he play in pain for a team in last place? I kinda get where he's coming from. I don't get where the medical staff is coming from. If every player that has had this injury before has had surgery, why wait?
  20. Or it's thrown with less movement than a pitch thrown 96.
