Johnson has a 1.7 ERA since August 1; this is going to be tough to overcome.

Would have preferred the Angels take another couple days to start playing well.

The game is over.

Patriots on soon

Nice work ! It may be a 50-/50 between the ancient Wilson A2000 and the Rawlings

Thanks--I'm a Rawlings guy. HOTH 3039.

Does everyone fully realize how bad the Angels and tonight's pitcher actually are ? And this game is Home  ot a West Coast trip.

A lot is when you play a team.  Even bad teams have good series/weeks.  They just don’t happen too often.  Good teams have bad series/weeks.

As for tonight’s Angels pitcher; he’s had a 1.7 ERA since the start of August (when the Angels replaced their pitching coach and then entire Angels staff has improved  the last month as well.

These bums aren’t just bad-they’re BORING.
Lets all hope they don’t make the playoffs so they don’t have to suffer the indignity of being eliminated by the Yankmees again

I can't help but wonder if the package Breslow gave the O's for Rutschman could have gotten the Sox Neto?

Yes , but no one needs another SS when you can get a broke catcher

Patriots in 30 minutes. They have a tough opening game against the Seahawks in Seattle. The Flops are the single franchise in Boston that sucks. The B’s, C’s, and Patriots are all managed well. Not so with the FLOPS

Go Seahawks. I don't follow the boring NFL for the same reason I don't follow the boring NBA. Because they're both boring.

Roman needs to sit while he figures things out. Really bad slump.

Why did anyone think he would be hitting well after a 3+month time out?

This is what he was doing in April before he checked his swing and then checked out
