Great to see Bennett settle down. It would be awesome, if he could finish the season strongly.

Monasterio's defense is scary. He should probably be platooned. I think Story will be given his old job back after a soft opening.

Sogard has earned a FT job.

Our top 2 slots went 6-8 today.

Saw HOU was up 6-0, as Alvarez was IBB'd 3 times, but they lost.

I'm too lazy to do the calcs, but I'm betting that we'd have good 1st inning numbers except for Bello not being to pitch the 1st, and the openers that we've used for Bello haven't been much better.

Actually, I ran the numbers, and without Bello and his openers, out 1st inning OPS would be .653, good for 5th in MLB.
