It is the right move for the organization but will take some cojones to pull off because it will be seen as quitting on the season.

They are basically using Yoshida as a platoon DH.  Only 24 of his 196 PAs are against lefties.  I don't think much of his game but like every Sox player I root for him when he's in the lineup.

But this team is being carried by rookie pitchers to a far too great extent.  I think pushing it this year hurts them next year.

But I get why Breslow has to buy.  And I fully expect him to do so.  Relief arm, DH (hopefully better than Brett Harris) will be the focus.  And I suppose a 2b if Seigler re-pumpkins before Mayer returns…
