The Rays have a $109,993,601 payroll. The Red Sox have a $98,500,000 payroll on the IL or AAA. Yet Breslow still has a job. We are run by inepts.

I have a feeling this is comparing two very different things…

they're clearly doing a helluva f***ing job in Boston.

I think it’s our own internal boneheads and not Driveline…

Because Boston keeps emphasizing a “one side fits all” approach to hitting rather than letting hitters do what got them to MLB in the first place…

Sounds like a Frank Zappa album

Yeah, one is an efficient and well run team and the other an inept one.

I can believe that. We used to be concerned the Sox could not develop pitching.

Now i think they break natural talent and warp it into bouncers to 2Bman

Also I think you have multiple years of one vs a single year of the other.

If Boston really had $98mill of this year’s payroll on the IL and in the minors, thats a really good excuse for struggling, not ineptitude.  Especially since only like $9mill is in AAA…

And then manage it like you still have Manny and Ortiz coming up next.

Milwaukee has a higher groundball rate, lower flyball rate, only hit 5 more home runs, and somehow scored NINETY FOUR MORE RUNS THAN BOSTON, not including last night.  Why?  Because they don’t play station-to-station baseball…

Red Sox: Make everyone pull the ball in the air.

Kyle Boddy: Are you sure? If that's what you want. It's not my preferred brand of baseball, but you're paying me.

Another Red Sox loss where opponents scored runs.

Another game where Boston pitchers and defenders didn't shutout foes.

Yet another complete failure for the Run Preventers...

Brez didn't say which team he'd be preventing runs for.

It’s ineptitude. They are horrible projecting injury prone players and not only that. They love to resign and extend them, and when they are finally “healthy,” they release them like Sale.
