And I like Duran (I liked JBJ, Bene as well).  But enough already.

Ever since he hit the 2 homers in 3 games, he’s been crap.  He was going to left more and now looks like he’s trying to pull everything again.

How many soft bouncers, with MoB, can our batters hit back to the opposing pitcher ?  Lots

Including pulling his head off the ball and opening up too much.  Duran is fixable but it would take a good coach and a serious effort on DURAN's part to change his approach.   The 2 HRs may have convinced him to swing hard and up angle.

Which is weird since one of them was oppo and barely fair.

Durbin definitely has a major league glove. Two excellent plays

Saving a run on defense is equal to driving in a run on offense.

At which bank can you deposit all the runs they are saving ?

I firmly believe the Sox can score a bunch of runs tonight because just before posting this, I reminded myself of the heartwarming tale involving a blind squirrel.

That squirrel was last sited climbing a broken clock.

Except ir doesn’t give the Sox a lead…

Early somewhat settled in and reducing his per inning pitch count. Maybe he can get 6 innings and hold it to 1-0 .

Yep, he’s hitting .111 in his last 7 games, and looks lost at the plate

Abreu drills a foul "HR"  then goes ahead and Ks.    When it is going against you, there is no mercy

Just turned on the TV. Seems like this Mendoza offense still can’t hit. At least is good to see Story and Yoshida aren’t in the lineup to hurt this team.

Harris fouls off 3 straight FBs with 2 strikes.  Hits a 4th one about 400'

Think about calling the pitches a little smarter or executing them better.

Sox hitters do not square up FBs like other teams seem to

There's already enough batters in this line-up to hurt this team.

There's only 7 batters in MLB who couldn't hit a homer off that pitch and they all play for the Sox.

Going to a restaurant called the Gambling Cowboy in a few.    Going to get odds on the Sox chance of winning this ( or any other) ballgame.

Btw, it wasn't a fast ball; it was an 87mph nothing.

Right now Mayer is contributing as much offensively as Anthony. And Anthony isn't even playing.

As of now one could call Mayer and Anthony the Coal Dust Twins.

Mayer looks as lost as the majority of the Sox line up
