I don't think it helped continually batting him first, either. But yeah, a little more help than just Contreras would have been helpful.

It is a growing problem with the media these days hyping these young kids is not a science, Henderson with the Orioles is a player not living up to the hype. Where has Tatis disappeared to? According to the pundits he was the best thing since sliced bread. Pedro Jr. is a good solid player but his power has gone elsewhere. I think the Red Sox are hardly alone with these future stars not quite lining up like we were told.

Durbin may be struggling with the bat but he hoovers everything up at 3rd. 

I really like Early. We've got a good one there. Him, Tolle, the Pig and Suarez is going to be some 4 if they stay healthy.

Tatis just had a 6 WAR season last year and Henderson is consistently one of best SSs in baseball.

Chad Tracy has already managed 13 guys on this roster. Wonder if this transition will be easier than expected?

yeah he is having a real bang up year, when the Padres come down to Earth, it will bring things into proper focus, considering how he and Machado are playing, they are damn lucky to have the record they do
