At least a few batters got the memo about keeping their heads still and hitting to the opposite field. Duran found The Wall twice -- welcome back, Jarren.

And Wong hit one to right field that OB said was out of 30 of 30 Little League ballparks.

Lou said it would've been over the second wire between the telephone poles across from his driveway -- but not the third... so it was just a triple in Driveway Ball, not a homer.

Can't give Duran more playing time though.

They meant “he fielded like his glove was made of solid gold”…

Trash-talking  former All-Star RS player who lead two tems in several batting categories last year, when your replacement is hitting .150 seems kinda odd to me.

Yup. But it's ok to call out an idiot announcer who can't even be bothered to fact-check dumbass claims fed to him from the research department.

"Devers had a Gold Glove in Boston"... what the intern really typed, that his fool editor erroneously added two big Gs to, was "Devers had old love in Boston" (then we all got older).

and he's a cheater. he should have never been allowed to come back after 2020.

I said the exact same thing when I first came on here, and I was called a Cora Hater. Of course the poster who said gets about everything wrong on here so it turned out to be a compliment.

Watching the Dodgers/ Giants game and one of the guys in the Giants' booth mentioned how well Devers has been playing 1st base. The other guy in the Giants' booth responded that we shouldn't be surprised because Devers won a gold glove playing with Boston.

Devers is -2 DRS in 125 IPs.

So saying you were a Cora hater is now a compliment?

Too funny.

Dig the hole deeper.

No! The fact that it came from you, and you were dead wrong, which was the first appearance from the Man Behind The CURTAIN, and how you possibly jumped to that conclusion in the first place, and you’re still the same today. It’s a curse, and not a gift.👋

The thing with IKF, you get the glove.  Hes not a viable platoon option if you’re trying to get right-handed hitting.  You hit him 9th and accept the defense as his contribution for the day.

But Monasterio?  He has made 5 starts this year, batting 2, 2, 2, 5, 6, all vs LHP.   Does anyone think Cora is even aware he is giving top batting order spots and a DH role vs lefties to a guy WITH A .298 OPS VS LHP?!?

I like Monasterio, but he is a #26 UIF, not a top of the lineup hitter.

He led off twice for the Brewers last year, but hit no higher than 6th otherwise. His most frequent BOP was 8th or 9th.

I admited I jumped to a conclusion that you now claim was a compliment. Talk about behind a curtain.

I apologized for being wrong- something you have never done, and you are wrong daily.

Being wrong was one thing, but jumping to a wrong conclusion so fast was another, and you still jump to conclusions. It wouldn’t be a compliment coming from anyone else, but then again no one else would jump to that wrong conclusion so fast.🤭

You lead the league in coming to wrong conclusions over posts, and never admit it or apologize.

So, now you see me calling you a Cora hater as a compliment. It makes me wonder, if I was really wrong back then.

I’ve read two other posters on here say they wouldn’t have hired Cora back either for the same reason, so I guess by your rationale they definitely must be Cora Haters. I’m more of a critic myself like I was with Bloom from day 1, but of course you called it bashing. I’m surprised you didn’t say I hated him like you did with Cora.

What he meant to say was “Devers was razzed by 5 GoldGloves in Boston” but the meaning got lost along the way…

Being a critic from day one is bashing.  What exactly were you criticizing on day one?

1.  He couldn’t field.  This much is true.  It is.  No need to ignore it anymore.

2. I trash him because he wouldn’t help out his team when a teammate got injured.  I guess I don’t think his RBI totals or whatever supersede that.

3. Devers is hitting .237 with a .604 OPS.  If you’re going to defend him based on his hitting abilities, maybe wait a bit.

I have and had no issue with that position. It has and had merit. You made your position known back then, forcefully, and I jumped to claim you were a Cora-hater. Once you called me out, I immediately apologized. You've brought it up dozens of times, since then as the singular event where I misrepresented what you said.

There was a time a couple years back you mistook a post from someone else as something I said, and despite me pointing it out to you, you doubled down, tripled down, then instead of just saying you made a simple mistake like all of us have and apologizing, you called me a nitpicker. Your common deflection mecahanism.

Of all the times you have claimed my position as being the opposite of what it was, assigned absurd motivations for my positions that couldn't be farther from the truth, and all the times I pointed them out, you have never once apologized to me.

I could be wrong, but I think you have only admitted a mistake once, and that was like a week ago.

I find it very interesting that years ago I said you were a Cora hater, despite you never saying it, and now you see it as a compliment. It does make me wonder, if I was wrong back then about your true feelings.

I know I was wrong about what I said. I'll say I'm sorry again.
