WHA- none of the fans in my house look forward to watching star ballplayers -- but we can't wait to rush to Fenway or the living room TV to see if empty jerseys can scratch out a few runs.

Right.  The choice was between a Hall of Fame hitter and a utility infielder that wouldn’t even be on the team if Romy was healthy.

Contreras and Durbin have been weak additions.  Story and Duran have been useless returning hitters.  Three of those 4 noodle swingers bat in the top 4 of the Sox lineup everyday, thanks to Cora.

But yes, we shouldn’t overlook that our CBO clearly preferred Monasterio over Bryce Harper…

Cora's in charge so that means he doesn't ever have to admit he made a mistake or apologize! But he can just fire his top of the order and tell the press he's reassigning them to important new jobs he just invented like Secretary of the Bat Rack and Official Dugout Hotfoot Fuse-Lighter.

I don’t think tjis team will miss Jhostnyxon Garcia and his .619 OPS.  The OF shouldn’t be the weakness on the team.  And it isnt.

The infielders not named Mayer on the other hand…

Cora should promote Story and Duran to the 1-2 spots in the order and get them MORE plate appearances.  Also move Abreu down and make sure he platoons all lefties regardless of splits…

How stupid of Breslow to trade away the obvious platoon partner for Marcelo Mayer.  Just because Jhostynyxon has never played infield before doesn’t mean he can’t, right?

Two posts ago, the complaint was that Breslow needed a power bat and still traded away the Sox best one in Garcia.  Now Garvia could have been weak side platoon option for - Marcelo Mayer?

To me, there are legitimate complaints and, well, nonsensical ones. 
 

Trading Tibbs for May?  Absolutely a legit complaint on a stupid move.  Trading Garcias for Oviedo? Who can tell since neither is in MLB right now?  That other post where someone was complaining about the Sox having Monasterio instead of Yaz/Papi/Ted etc?  Complete nonsense that really deserved far more sarcasm than I piled on.

To me, when a CBO or GM or owner or Mouthpiece Liar Named Sam states specific intentions to improve a team and then not only doesn't deliver, but pivots to a lesser plan and leaves the roster incomplete, those people deserve any criticism when they fall flat on their faces. 

And I don't wish them ill will -- except when I'm fed their bull once again while they try to sneak behind me and pick my pockets.

In that case, fans like us -- like me -- who foot their bill, deserve to serve any outrage we desire, whether it's rational or just from raw emotion. The front office can eat it. 

I'm just so sick and damn tired of being lied to, over and over again, this entire decade.
