Story is living one of his slumping cycles already.  Cora should know that, and putting him batting 2 is supidity at its finest. His approach to the plate is beyond horrendous. His defense is sloppy too. He simply sucks right now. Sit his ass, put Rafaela or Monasterio at second and move Mayer at SS, and DH Yoshida.

Help yourself for God's sake!

That's the story of his year.  He takes very few pitches.  Just pitch to the corners until you get to a 3-ball count.

Mostly true of many RS hitters.  That was a particularly bad pitch given Rafael's free-swinging nature.
