Are you kidding?  In 3 innings the Sox have 1 single and 5 K's.  The whole lineup is the problem.  If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen--and right now that's what our guys want to do.  Maybe Cora should be allowed to call an intentional K when his guys come to bat.

The Yankmees are a good fastball hitting team. Early mixes in a lot of off speed pitches. If his control is good he can handle these guys

Schlittler throws two pitches for strikes. If he pitched against NY, he'd have more pop-ups. 

Early throws five pitches for strikes. If he pitched against Boston, he'd have a no-hitter.

Schlitter is locating that 100 mph heater pretty well.  Not like he’s just throwing it belt high down the middle.

Sox seem to at least have an approach the second time around.  Story went the other way as did Bregman. Yoshida’s gone that way twice for hits and Rafaela went oppo as well. 

That being said, they need to try and work the count a little better.  Getting the pitch count up is likely the Sox best bet.

When Yoshi slashes to LF/LC he is a very good OBP hitter. But with this group NO ONE can hit a ball out behind him.

So many games in September the lack of hitters was noted. It is not just Anthony missing
