I mentioned  a few days ago if Sox Nation was ready for a Crochet breakdown

This is not a good game for that happening

Once again they can’t beat very good teams on the road. They can’t win series. I rather thjs team fall flat then give us this BS hope.

I worry about  this offensive flow with this team.  Cora has a different, largely different lineup every game with players out of position and no continuity in the line up.   Our World Series teams all had consistent predictable line ups.  The chaos of these lineups with marginal talent in many spots doesn’t bode well

Oh, stop it.  Cora's lineups have worked well.  He makes changes when it is advantageous to do so.  That's why the Sox are ranked 4th in MLB in runs scored despite having just one solid hitter, Bregman.

Crochet sure could use a changeup.

Max, you should use your eyes instead of nerdy offensive stats. Nineintime is correct; the offensive flow of this team during the season has been very inconsistent.

When the opponent steals 2nd on your Ace Lh'er who has 86 pitches i. the 4th inning you better figure out what is wrong quick

This Sox team in no way compares to WS Sox teams. Not even close.

He's having an off night. It happens to the best of us.

Guess what?  The overwhelming majority of MLB teams have better W-L records at home than on the road.

That said, tonight's game with Crochet on the mound is ominous.  Our ace has given up 5 runs, and our lineup went moribund after Bregman's 2 run dinger.

Of course they don’t but when you have a young team it’s even more important to have some level of predictability instead of the name out of the hat mentality of this manager.

I'm not fan of Cora either, but JH loves him.

Unless Bailey can fix Hicks falling off to his left on every pitch , he will not be very successful.  Throwing hard is a different skill than pitching.

Last guy that fell left every pitch was the late great Matt Barnes

Crochet gags it up

A hangover after the first start of an extended break.  He did not look even remotely close to the guy we’ve seen all year

My guess is that the Astros are pretty pissed off because they got swept in Boston. They’ll be looking to return the favor.
Three losses in a row and counting.

I'm getting close to employing Michael Corleone's famous line, but not yet.

Don't be a drag. Fredo
