I think that's why historically, we haven't had a lot of uniform discussions on here. We have a classic uniform that hasn't needed change. The road uniform is whatever. Not many people are buying that one and it's never been very good. The alternates have been fine, but nothing special. 

The one topic that used to be very hot was concerning replacing Fenway. However, this ownership group has done a great job at modernizing Fenway as best they can and making the fans believe that this stadium will be around another 100 years whether it should be or not. 30 years ago, there were many fans that would have rather seen a Red Sox game at a modern facility TBH. Now, we don't have stadium talk anymore.

I know a lot of people love this type of thing, which is fine.  Personally, it makes my head hurt.  In this regard, I was better off without instant access to all of the information that is at our fingertips.  I'd rather wait until a trade or a signing happens, then make my assessment at that time.

Same.  Ive kicked myself for not thinking of ever even creating a site like MLBTR or BTV.  Missing the BTV idea in particular annoys me because I’ve used sites that do the same thing for fantasy. It never occurred to me to make one that works for reality…

I assess before and after.  Some deals make sense beforehand but just don’t work out.  It’s ok to acknowledge that…

I absolutely love the shade of yellow on those uniforms, but that shade of yellow has no business being on a Red Sox jersey.

The " City Connect" uniforms are just another MLB gimmick to separate the fans from their money.  Kid: " Dad, I need one of those green caps now."   Dad: " Okay, Jimmy" .

Back to the OP, briefly.  I hate it when Rafaela plays 2b, but understand why Cora does it. 

Tonight Cora can get all 4 outfielders--Duran, Rafaela, Abreu, and Anthony--in by DH'ing Anthony.  

In fact, tonight's 9 lineup players are ranked 1st, 2d, 3d, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th in OPS's against righty pitchers.  Of equal interest is that 5 of those are lefty bats and 4 are righty bats.
