It looks like Red Sox rank best in many of the categories shown, so that must mean  30 is the best in MLB.

On a serious note, this really confirms the oft commented note that Boston pitchers, despite elaborate pregame sessions are just not ready to go in the first.   Or their mentality doesn't kick in until they see balls flying off or over the walls

Glad to see nothing new in Red Sox land.  2 out, 0-2 pitch golfed for a 3 run HR in the first.    Geez, they are bad.

And the top 3 hitters going down like grass in front of a mower doesn't help..  Now Buehler at 25 pitches , still trying to get guys out, BUT gives up a 2 run HR.  What a poor effort

Yanks offense has been in a funk this week, and Buehler owned them in the World Series last season. So it only makes sense that the Yanks will drop 8 runs on him in the first inning.

Guess I overestimated the Yanks

Unusual that a reclamation project hasn't worked out for the Sox.

can't wait to see what over-the-hill, oft-injured, rehabbing wreck the Sox sign to a zillion dollars this winter.

Whata s***** show again.

The situation of this team is really worrisome and I’m not talking about this season, because it is already over, but for the future especially on how this team is run, managed and coached. And the sadest thing is that it seems JH doesn’t give a damn anymore as long he keeps filling his pockets. Really sad man.

Another damn error on a throw failing to close out an inning.    Now watch the fireworks.   Mayer had plenty of time to throw it well after a very good pick.   But that is the Red Sox

The Sox don't have a scooping 1st baseman .

But keep in mind that the 6th run and any following are unearned so won't really warp the analytics .

Fielding % doesn't matter

Buehler has no ability to get himself out of this mess.  he is tired and beaten .  I don't mind that Cora leaves him hanging out there.

If you do not have the stuff to compete at this level, then retire.

Leading the league in errors back to back to back years should have the entire FO and coaching staff fired already.

This game may influence that  reorganization.    The Sox are really hitting bottom
